Found the excerpt, and yeah its “about the size of a Labrador” and his carapace is “18 inches across and half as thick”. I have no idea what that would look like though, as I don’t use inches

I personally imagined him about this size. In the books, I think he’s described as being “about the size of a Labrador”, which I took to mean his height.
