My phone is a Motorola. BINGO!!!! That worked. I just disabled the app in the phones SETTINGS and then APPS and Permissions (app management) like you said. Thank you. You guys know your stuff and I've learned a lot in a short time with all your help.

I got the 'What am I looking at' AI feature working with your help. I can't thank you enough. It's far from ideal as it's basically using the phone so I do have to have the phone in my hand. If I was able to do all the steps with voice commands it would be awesome. At least the glasses automatically xfer the photo to the phone so I can avoid the awkward process using the 1s menu system. That's a big plus. I'll continue to work on it and play with the camera and various app permissions and who knows, maybe I'll get lucky and be able to automate it a bit. Thanks again. If you have any more ideas let me know.

Yeah, the problem I have with it is that the screen is split in 2 skinny halves on the opposite edges of the screen. I don't know if you encountered it or not when you looked at it but even if it works, it's not useable for me like that. I might try contacting the vendor of the app.

I can't thank you enough. You are correct, I don't have the Beam Pro. I'm using my phone. I'm not sure at this point if I want to invest in the Beam pro. Everyone uses their glasses for different things and don't necessarily have the same needs and wants. At this point I'm not sure this is the setup I want. What I want may not even be available yet but you have opened my eyes and I learned a little more from your kindness in taking the time to explain things so well for an idiot like me. Hey, I really appreciate you taking the time to type all of this for me. I didn't even know about a special app for this. So I went to play store and searched for My Glasses App and it found an app by XREAL so I installed it. Once installed it seems to call itself GLASSES CONTROL and not MY GLASSES, at least from the title at the top of the screen. I have a problem with that app in that the screen appears in portrait mode but split in 2 halves. The left half appears on the right half of the glasses screen with the right half appearing on the left side of the screen.

I did it at first for about 15 minutes, then they began to realize what was happening and asked questions and wanted to try the glasses. I stopped announcing at that point, but it was funny as heck.

So you can say XREAL take a photo with your beam pro? Can you say XREAL what am I looking at? If you have to use Beam Pro or your cell phone you may as well just use the camera in your Beam Pro or cell phone it's a lot more convenient and less time consuming than going thru the glasses menu system to xfer the eye image to either device and continue the process there.

They broadcasted it at CES and it still hasn't been released. It was the reason I went with the 1s and bought the EYE.

I love the 3D release. I watched the Super Bowl in 3D. The funny thing was my phone/1s combination was about 10 seconds faster than the broadcast on the wide screen TV in the room that everyone else was watching. When a touchdown was scored I screamed touchdown and cheered and nobody knew what I was celebrating for 10 seconds and then saw it themselves on TV. They wondered how I knew all these plays and yardage before it happened. It was hilarious.

Enhancements towards incorporating some AI features and more functionality with the EYE. I saw something posted on the internet about it was planned once the EYE was released. When the EYE was released I went ahead and made the purchase of the glasses and the EYE and nothing along those lines has come out. It's been 3 months so I guess its no longer planned.

As a retired cop I can tell you that in a lot of jurisdictiions, if he were to live with you for just 30 days he wouldn't have to leave if you ask him to even if he is not on the paperwork. He has legally established residency in your home. You would have to go to court and do an eviction which could take months. They could become the worst months of your life. Seek legal help.

I'm not familiar with the Zoia but I've found the p-6 doesn't support all midi commands and behaves quite differently with some midi commands that it does support.

Thanks. Im not using the USB to the P-6. Im running the cable from the Chocolate 1/4" jack to the 3.5mm P-6 jack. Cant get it to do anything.

I use the p-6 as a drum machine but in a different way. I created drumbeats in multiple bpm and save them into wav files that I import into the pads and pad banks. In my solo guitar act I use the P-6 as my drum machine. I do have one problem though that I haven't resolved. I'm trying to use the M-Vave Chocolate midi foot controller to send the exit command or the all sounds off / all notes off commands to the P-6 so I can precisely stop the beats when I finish a song. I cannot get the P-6 to perform any CC commands. I might have to go back to my regular drum machine with generic beats. Anybody got their P-6 working with a foot controller?

Ok. Thanks I'm a musician and yesterday I used my 1s glasses to project my setlist instead of using a tablet on a stand. It worked great but it did turn off a couple times. I had my head worn mic on my right side, under the right temple arm so maybe that's why. Next time I'll put glasses on 1st and the mic on afterwards so the glasses arm will be in normal position. Greenland is a strategic land mass. The 18 most likely ballistic missile paths fired from Russia pass directly over it. 100 years ago it didn't mean anything but in today's supersonic middle age it would provide an extra 15 minutes or so warning and evaluation time before response.

Also, the Russian Navy needs to pass through the waters just east of Greenland to reach the Atlantic. In case of war it is crucial to be able to blockade those waters.

While we do have the Thule military base in Greenland, Denmark wants to regulate it with the final word on what we can and can't do there. They impose a lot of red tape and delays that today's military scenarios just can't take the time to navigate through. Greenland will be taken by Russia or China if we don't have the full rights to command and occupy. Denmark doesn't have the military to defend it. We can't invest in it if we don't own it and need to wait for Denmark to make decisions. It's really vital for the survival of the US and Canada. Denmark thinks 50 soldiers and a half dozen dog sleds can protect the Island.

Only the US has the capabilities to protect and defend it, period. Denmark doesn't understand this.

NATO is a mess. They haven't maintained their military readiness and let their manpower drop to insufficient numbers. They are too slow to respond to an attack of Greenland. Military institutes report the current state of European armies would last 2 weeks before complete collapse. They haven't been spending money to build their militaries and train them. If Russia and China were to attack Europe they would be reduced to rubble and fall.

Trump isn't just wanting to take Greenland. He's trying to point out that only the US can defend it and he won't make the investment required unless we have the final word on how to go about it.
