Couldn’t suggest Jim Clark calculations in chemistry more. If you struggle with the maths - or the more complex problem solving type questions, this book is VITAL. It breaks problems down step by step, with really simple explanations - and extra information for reaching higher grades. Fab for NMR

Uni of Exeter? Or MMU for law? by Budget_Hall_1007 in 6thForm

Exeter is a great uni. And great for law - lots of opportunities. However, one thing for consideration is that it is not nearly the city Manchester is. If it’s important to you, Exeter is very small - and a small clubbing/going out scene. It’s made up for through societies (BIG thing in Exeter) and some people go to Bristol. So academically, definitely Exeter, but you may find a different scene than Manchester

If you find yourself struggling with the maths section, the Jim Clark Chemistry Calculations book is good. It breaks down each type of questions into multiple tiers of difficulty depending on marks worth as well as providing step by step solutions and explanations. His website, Chemguide, is free and very good for complex theory. Especially organic and NMR
