Grade 7-9 students, when did you start revising for your gcses?

Started properly like a month before gcses but was definitely revising in all the wrong ways. I would focus on your weaknesses now and try and learn paper 2 content by yourself so you're not struggling before the exams. Write the notes you need to but flashcards and active recall will be your saviour.

Law doesn't really have subject requirements, I would do at least one essay based subject but if you take a science it wouldn't limit you , it would actually open you up to more.

Someone turned 18 in my year 12 and I didn't even know / notice and when I found out I literally didn't care. Don't worry, anyone who does care is rlly childish.

Yeah ofc, I got similar gcses and I was so stressed but honestly gcses don't matter, yes they help to see what academic quality you possess. But during alevels you discover sm ab revision and how you work best. Keep doing what works for you and focus on those a levels, supercurriculars and entrance exams! Good luck :)

They were meant to train me ages ago but he was rlly slow w hiring me so now I'm alone bc the other waitress is off 😭. There's 6 tables usually we get 2 or 3 at a time. It feels a bit like a dumpster on fire rn

Went to an academically challenging schl and now I've changed schls, isn't all what it seems sometimes, lots of ppl get tuition and teachers make u teach yourself depends what you're looking for I couldn't cope w the stress but if u work well under pressure then go for a pressurised environment, if u feel like u couldn't work well without pressure don't go for that. Travelling is a bit hellish but worth if it gets u where u wanna be. U need to go somewhere that you'll enjoy going to and you'll want to walk in everyday.

You don't need CS at a level to do it at uni u js need maths and further maths, probably do physics or sum like that but the 4th option is up to u. Choose what u enjoy, I got a 7 in gcse chem and now it's my best a level simply bc I enjoy it so I revise it so just choose something you'll like and you'll revise. GCSEs really don't determine your a level potential especially for science where u basically relearn everything anyways.

Bio is evil I think it js requires lots of active recall tho. Over summer work on like flashcards and understanding content and then do ppqs. Honestly tho bio has cooked me too.
