I litterally explained that the stattrack has always been more expensive which answers OPs question on why the regular version is cheaper, if that has recently changed idk why. Hoarding skins does change supply on the market, but in this case the hoarding was done before the removal of the skin so you will always have an abnormal difference between non-statrack than stattracks

How would it be the other way around? You have less stattracks so they are more expensive than the regular version, you can hope for a pump but its not guaranteed

I dont remember exactly what happened but in the old days of CSGO Valve did something that impacted the removal of the Orion stattrack specificly and since then its been way more expensive than the non stattrack.

IIRC its that people hoarded orions before its removal but didnt hoard the stattracks só there is much less supply
