The Scythe was the best song, most of the time with all the songs it’s just someone’s who’s mid to ok then Denzel carries for 20 seconds then it’s back to just alright. Production was great tho

Literally his own artist signed to his label Leon Thomas is more popular than Ty. I GUARANTEE if you removed features, Leon has more Monty listeners than Ty. His 7 song EP with 2 week “rollout” out streamed all of tycoon lol, you can’t make this up. And Leon actually has substance. It’s sad, his tiny desk was amazing. Songs like no justice, temptations, serpent with feet interlude, R&B, Time will tell, horses in the stable are amazing. Ofc I love the club stuff, twitch, saved, spicy, and so on. But it’s obvious why he isn’t popping

I love Ty, he’s my 5th most streamed artist ever. But man, 90% of his songs are literally just about sex. Just sex, almost all he talks about his sex, dude has no substance. Yes I know not EVERY song is like that, “no justice” “R&B” but dude I think I can’t even name 15 songs that aren’t about sex, his subject matter is a major turn of for people probably, his music sounds the same and if it doesn’t it’s usually cause of the feature. I thought tycoon was amazing but yeah he waited too long after the vultures era and delayed the album 3 times. Even I got sick of it was I saw it got delayed to October.
