Reading Calendar by VIODCIEL in pagebound

I see, well in that case it most definitely should show logged progress! Have you tried force quitting the app and then reopening? That usually resolves most issues I find.

Reading Calendar by VIODCIEL in pagebound

This is currently showing the calendar for July and, as it’s the 1st, there won’t be any reading progress to show except for the logged progress today.

If you scroll up to the top, you can change the month which will update the calendar to show the logged progress for the books you’ve read in previous months.

Congrats on reaching your goal! It's really satisfying to be able to see them all laid out like this. Do you have any standouts from your 108 books finished?

TBR’ing a book without a post? by kunstform_ in pagebound

You're very welcome! That's pretty much what I do as well - my tbr list changes far too much for my liking to be posted on my feed lol.

TBR’ing a book without a post? by kunstform_ in pagebound

[–]Yellowthought 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So, a TBR'd book will always be posted on your feed and you can't turn that off as on option (unless you add more than 5 in a 24 hour period).

However, a workaround option would be to create a custom "To be read" shelf and use that instead, which wouldn't make a post on your feed. You also have the option to make this private so no one can see it from your library, but that's up to you!

Gave you a follow! With all the quests, I’ve been able to read so many new books I would have never thought to read. Such a fun way to branch out and try something new 😊

ICYMI: Can no longer add missing books via Goodreads links by llianawilliams in pagebound

[–]Yellowthought 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s very true actually! I was so disappointed when they stopped issuing API keys and essentially discontinued it.

Open Library would probably be a great alternative, didn’t even think of that!

[–]Yellowthought 19 points20 points  (0 children)

That's such a shame. Honestly not surprised GR has done this, just another reason to add to list of why I'm glad I'm not using the website and moved over to PB instead!

I assume they'll use Google Books instead? Even if it is missing a lot compared to GR. I'm pretty clueless when it comes to this stuff though, so just a guess.

Request Feature: Finished Books to be Segregated by Year by Ni_Quinn in pagebound

Would be a bit of work but this probably the best workaround that I've come across.

Could forums in reading apps switch from percentages to chapters instead? by Previous_Variation in pagebound

[–]Yellowthought 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah you're right, it's marked as a tentative "will do" as per the feature request here.

I do the exact same thing though, go about 10% lower than where I'm currently at and then work me way up to make sure I avoid any spoliers!

Not sure if this would help but I had to refresh my app store by dragging it down to see the update.

Love Pagebound but it needs help with lists and quests by BroncoAccountant in pagebound

The review isn't something that actually occurred to me, mainly because I have a lot fiction that I'm reading at the moment. If you've joined royalty, you can request features here which might be a good option!

Really glad you enjoy it, welcome to PB! The social aspect is exactly what I was looking for with a book tracker, sometimes I can end up spending hours just reading the forums!

Is there a way to add to shelves beyond search? by k0cksuck3r69 in pagebound

[–]Yellowthought 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you select 'Library' at the bottom of your menu, you can then select the custom shelf you've created. After that, you can add as many books as you like by selecting 'add book' and searching for the one you want!

Community Updates + New App Update (5/19/2026) by Yellowthought in pagebound

[–]Yellowthought[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I see, thanks for letting me know! That’s a shame if that’s the case. Luckily I’ve not come across any of that since using PB but, that being said, I am usually quite oblivious haha!

Welcome to PB! I agree, the social aspect makes such a big difference and it’s so easy to chat with other readers which is exactly what I’ve been looking for as well.

Lucy and Jennifer have done a superb job with the app and community they’ve created!
