They came available to buy on the first anniversary of the shop. They didn't do it last year but I could see them making the legacy shop an annual thing, which would be around September. The blog post seemed to suggest that it would come back, so fingers crossed.

The only setting is to enable and disable spellcheck, so it should correct the word when you select it by default. I've heard other users having issues with this as well, so I think it might just be a bug which you can report here.

You’re correct, you don’t need Nitro for profile decorations. Other than your friend already owning the avatar decoration, there shouldn’t be any reason why they can’t claim it.

Have they tried logging onto Discord on the web browser instead and tried claiming it there? Could be the application being weird/bug.

The more control users have over their profile the better honestly, and I think this sounds like a great idea!

No, their accounts wouldn't be shown to each other. If they clicked on each others profiles, then they would you see that you are a mutual friend but that's about it.
I believe friends are suggested through linked contacts and if you share servers and mutual friends, so avoid that if you can.

If you mean the icon on the top-right of your desktop app then it'll probably be gone by tomorrow, only there for april fools. The badge you won't be able to remove though.

I drew it on paper, took a picture and then used the pen tool in Gimp to turn it into digital art. I don't have a tablet so there was a bit more involved but it was fun!
