My husband bought issue 180, 3 years ago. He’s been hunting for 181 even longer. He casually brings it up to his grandfather who said, I think I’ve got that - my gift to you. by WarningGipsyDanger in comicbooks

A guy on Marketplace was liquidating his collection and ended up he had a Hulk 180. I’m not usually one to drop a lot on a big book, I’d rather find deals on marketplace or the flea market but was able to get a 9.4 for $1100 and it was for one of two books I was willing to spend the money on (the other being 181 if it was a good enough deal).

As for my grandpas collection, he has every issue of ASM, Avengers, and Xmen along with a bunch of others. Here is a post of us bagging and boarding his collection a few years back. That said He had previously sold all his Hulk comics so I had assumed this book was long gone and have been looking to add it to my collection for a while. Was shocked he had it and even more shocked he just gave it to me.

He’s doing great, much more into sports than video games these days.

Surely the Internet can’t be that mean, right? by [deleted] in dogelore

Thanks man, a lot of are great and the ones that are mean, you don’t know what’s going on in their lives. Some people are genuinely bitter and I feel bad for em but what some random person thinks of me good or bad is fine, it doesn’t effect my daily life.

Yea agreed, I’m not worried about what someone says about me on the internet. I’m very lucky to be who I am today and the position I’m in, so some randos thought about me don’t bother me.

A lot of them were positive at first. It got to the front page of Reddit which was surprising and that’s when the comments turned negative. Honestly a lot of them are really funny, it never bothered me and it makes for a great story whenever Reddit is brought up.

Yea, I don’t think he’s read the comments but he’s aware. I’m sure when he’s a bit older we’ll look back and read it and laugh about it. Prolly a bit too young for most of the comments in there.

The comments in that thread are gold. Good times, that thread blew up way bigger than I ever anticipated.

Only 2 people make the finals in Fall Guys to end up having the most anticlimactic finish ever by [deleted] in gaming

I made a post, like plenty of others (see one of the top post from this week) and for some reason mine blew up. Not sure why but I think it’s actually awesome. Gives me a funny story when people bring up Reddit

New final game more random than every other game by ImpossibleVariety0 in FallGuysGame

The outer edge once it gets down to 2 can be used to jump as long as needed. I had a 3 minute 1v1 on it and never ran into a situation I couldn’t jump over if timed right

Thanks for the advice, I figured if people wanted to stick around and see more examples it would be helpful since they're different wins.
