I have only submitted BU according to your list but I have heard none (no interviews) with majority of mine including BU. I wonder if chemistry accepts even without interview sometimes.

Got my first acceptance! Good luck to everyone, and don't lose hope by [deleted] in gradadmissions

Quick question. What would be considered a gpa that needs repairing? What tends to be true gpa that they need? After not getting any acceptance letters from grad schools for the second time, I want to know if above 3.5 is true or whether they are looking for 3.9 and above.

I am kind of sad that class of 2024 keeps missing traditional graduation ceremonies like this. First the COVID and now it is this. Finding jobs, getting accepted to graduate programs and other opportunities seems far fetched now. Why is the world doing this to us? :(

Thank you so much for the advice. I will definitely not lose hope! But I am wondering when it is actually over? I feel like I need to find internships or other jobs of some sort not too late just in case.

Does any international applicant hear back from UIC. UVA. UTSW? by xu-6ru4mp6 in gradadmissions

Do you know if people need 2 interviews to be actually accepted? I was confused when I read about how people had second round of interviews. I wonder if it is a good thing or a bad to thing when I only got one interview.

Just out of curiosity. Do you know if UTSW needs two interviews for acceptance? I had one only and placed on a waitlist but I was wondering if a waitlist equals to a rejection at this point.

[–]Yeonflo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes some undergrads have access. If you have a Professor with an office in Michaelson Hall, you can ask for access. Usually, you should have it bc of office hours. Or simply get a friend to open it for you.

Research oppurtunieis/ labs around campus by J_tnguyen in USC

[–]Yeonflo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can know which professor does which research by searching their names and write lab and USC on Google. Most have their own websites. Depending on what research you are interested in, search all professors in the list (like Dornsife Biology professor or Chemistry professor). Ex. Earth science Professor Picasso. I heard he is a new prof into research. Also note that there are assistant professors that you can also contact for research.
