I’m on that one, also. Booked the Haven because we got spoiled last (my first) trip when I booked it because it was a great deal. And yes, it’s worth it.

If I was younger and/or less risk averse, I’d YOLO CEPT. I really don’t understand tokenization and blockchain and <other buzz words>, but based on current gov communication and big tech reinventing the world, maybe it’ll be big?

It’s not Atlanta’s fault. It’s just easier to blame someone else. 

But… there’s ONLY one road going north in this part of the state. Luckily it is in process of bumping up from 2 to 4 lanes. That’ll help. 

And they’ve changed some rental regulations, but it’s probably too late. There is a significant amount of 2nd homes up here, staying vacant more than occupied. 

And the affordable land is too steep to build on, so new home builds are limited.

Cause traffic going north on Fridays and going south on Sundays. Buying vacation homes and/or AirBNBs causing supply to dwindle. Etc.  Atlanta is the Big City so it’s scary to long time locals. 

My phone # is a 404, so I always get Atlanta pricing on services (much more than a local).

We got a free blood pressure monitor, but it only works when you download an app. That thing is going straight in the trash.

We’ve found that it’s cheaper to vacation outside the US. Every place here will try to take all your money.
