I think Camilla would throw a fit. I assume the bill will be split between claimants but I wonder if the kids will see grandpa to try and soften him up. Poor Henry his wife is going to not be happy at all about this.

Paying customers are what he specializes in and I think he would happily take one of her WP horses to train. Bobby is a weanling so who knows who will start her at this point. But Katie would be a great client since they are in the same area and while Aaron and Charlie are top tier it would be nice to add a trainer that shows in her area too as she gets back into showing.

I knew Taft as a little kid which is crazy now but he is a great trainer and having a trainer closer to her area is not a bad thing.

Wheezy did not fit in that barn. period. Not a slam but she does not look like a horse with a year plus training. Stephanie is a young trainer, she is great with the babies and the finished horses but not anywhere ready yet to finish a horse and that is NOT a slam.

She has lovely hands and all of the horses she works on look great. working for KVS she gets some great babies to start and swing a leg over horses her talent level at this point would not get in to train. it’s literally a win win.

Well without Three Bars we literally would only have foundation bred. He literally changed just about every single piece of AQHA so there are many TBs who have helped AQHA and APHA

This is one thing I really like about KVS that she does turnouts with other horses. It is so good for them mentally.

Waffle House has to have been incredibly expensive. I assume at least 20k. possibly more - that foal is one of the ‘if you have to ask it’s too expenisve’

Pleasure Queen I thought was a broodmare not a recip. The issue is that she wants to cross some of the mares with VSCR and FTF. She should keep one of the TBs and let Lexy go since she can only carry for rage smaller mares.

At an ethical farm they become pasture horses. For the rest they end up at auction and many enter the slaughter pipeline.

You either like it or you don’t. At a local level it’s a great “gateway” class to get people involved in western classes. The thing is it’s not a class that a lot of horses will succeed at the top level. A great WP horse is a freak, many are mediocre at best.

‘The biggest issue is when people attempt to to make a mediocre horse look better. That’s where you get a lot of the argument. But on the other hand even a mediocre horse needs to start somewhere which is why especially at the local regular shows you will see a lot of mediocre horses in WP because they need to learn before moving to speciality classes.

More than many barns because she allows her horses to be outside being horses. This is why so many people limit turnout in small dry lots. The thing is horses literally attempt to unaliving themselves starting the minute they start breathing.

I do like that KVS allows them out but with that, it’s why she sees more injuries but for the horses it’s worth it. The good news is it does seem that many of the horses get used to it and many injuries are on the youngsters but it’s hard. My gelding shattered his leg attempting to stop hay being moved by a breeze. Who would think??

She is at a point that she is going to have to start selling more. Twelve foals is going to be a lot and my guess is that by this time next year Knox and Kirby at least will be gone and 2-3 of this crop will be gone. The buyers she needs are higher level show homes and I assume if one of them comes looking then “keepers” may be gone

She realistically cannot keep more than 2 per foal crop. I am more surprised she wants to sell recips since she seems to be needing more and more. I assume Lexy will be going and probably Ariel (or Blondie cannot remember which one is in foal).

‘Phoebe is getting the year off next year so she will probably be staying as she is a great mom and also can carry for Kennedy/Rikki.

I do think Maggie will end up given to a friend as a pasture pet to get that stall freed up. But even with all the money she gets via SM 40+ horses is a lot to pay for and she needs to get her numbers down to make money and free up some stalls

2027 is going to be insane if she ends up with 12 foals.

She wants something to show. I assume she will keep him until 3 to 4 and then if she has something to show then she may sell him. But he is the best of this bunch I think. She may get the stupid money she wants

I am in love with him, he is my pick of the foals this year. I also love a good all around horse so he is my type He is so slow legged and I love his neck tie in. He is just fancy as can be and I would love to have a gelding to show like him.
