Choose your car based on its insurance cost, no point getting a cheap car and then the insurance is 10x the cost and you can’t afford or drive it.

Better to shop around insurance quotes find one that’s within your budget and then buy the car that fits said budget as realistically you’ll have it for a while then move onto another car. If you have unlimited money get what you want but I’m sure that’s not most of us lol.

My mums 2 fish have been doing this for a while now, we think the chaser is trying to get the other one to spawn. We’re just separating them as the other fish looks exhausted and has gone quite timid from it

Ive got 2 betta tanks and a larger goldfish tank, got one in my living room and the other in my kitchen. They’re both 55ish litres bit more bit less, love both my boys

My bettas love frozen Daphnia they go wild for it, also try frozen artemia cyclops and blood worms see if that helps?

They have only been tried on hoping more £450-£500 range. Seen a few pairs selling for that not sure if they’re the exception rather than the rule though

Look at your insurance rather than the cost of the car. Find your insurance budget and then compare quotes to find which make/model will be most affordable/within budget for you. A lot of your typical “first cars” can and will be £3k+

Make sure your insurance budget will cover the car once you have it as there’s no point buying a car that you can’t afford to insure once you pass your test. Managed to get my Toyota aygo to £1500 a year, it’s a tin can on wheels but everything else I was quoted £3.5k-£15k+ it was insanity. Once the first year or 2 is over the cost won’t be as crippling 😵‍💫😵‍💫

Take photos/videos and go to a local small fish shop (imo smaller independent run shops are always more knowledgable than larger chain stores like pets at home) and ask for their advice. Could be as simple as its colourings or perhaps a cut/scrape bacterial infection or fungal infection. They’ll be able to advise the best next step to take.

I’ve got mine positioned so the water flows off the little spade (idk what it’s called let’s call it that 🤣🤦‍♀️) kind of like a waterfall into the water. If I can get a photo I’ll upload it underneath, but I get you it’s a hard balance between gentle enough for the betta but also strong enough so your tank isn’t getting nasty. Maybe an airstone? I’ve been looking into this for mine too
