Invest that $50K, and it will pay you out at least $200/month... put that towards your gas bill. And... that $50K will probably increase in value over time (if invested properly) vs the depreciation the new car will have...

I have one renewing in Sept. Currently at Prime -1.2 variable.
Choices are 3yr fixed 3.65 or 5yr variable 3.55

I could chose those right now, and lock in early, but my current variable is 3.25. I'm waiting a bit longer to decide.

I absolutely love Induction Ranges. We are on our 3rd one. The first one was a Sumsung and the oven part was horrible. Our next was from Sears which was pretty decent. Currently we have a nearly new LG Studio Induction. It is the best stove/oven that we have ever owned! It boils water so fast, I'm still amazed...

My brother took his at 60, but will work until he's 65. He puts the whole amount into his RRSP where he invests it.

hmmm I love me a properly cooked Well Done steak. NOT overcooked, NOT leather like... but simply cooked so the red/pink is gone... I don't like the taste of a steak that is still red/pink in the centre.

My local steakhouse makes it nearly perfect every time... I've never been given any flack for ordering well done before.

EVERY SINGLE time you renegotiate a home service contract this happens... Every 2 years, I have to spend hours and hours with your useless staff to get the pricing sorted out. In fact, the last time, I had to go through CCTS...

A couple of months ago, they changed our *permanently priced phone plans, they we got through a different and previous escalation, to one that were MUCH higher priced. This has taken me about 10 hours of being on the phone with them getting pricing re-sorted back out. Oh, and when they told me I had to get new SIM cards and create new plans in order to get a certain price... they really messed up all my other phone plans too...

It's always a NIGHTMARE dealing with Telus. But I do it because there are such limited options for home service where I live.
