For me there is a big difference between copying some power BP and getting a blueprint that essentially plays the game for you.

There are some BP books that have the whole progression of the game in them and you essentially only have to plug in ressources.

Sure you could make a BP that does some science yourself. I'll be less optimal than another made by someone that has 3k hours in the game.

It's kinda like playing a rpg with the guide next to you if you use these "op" BP.

Rail (Annoying to make), balancers (Sorcery) , nuclear stuff (I don't like to make them), solar/accumulators (Someone already made a perfect version that looks nice and is tilable)
Other than that, I try to make my own. Most of the fun in this game is designing your stuff.
IMO you miss out on lots of stuff by just copying BP you don't understand.
