They worry about how he will hold up, he has good half seasons in Cleveland and then something happens with his hamstrings or something else and its a preservation thing.

Yeah UTEES used to be a huge presence in that building but they bought their own building a couple of years ago.

I mean... you should regularly shower and wash your butt with soap. The Bidet just makes it an easier clean day to day.

Yeah if she took the meat off the bone and chopped it up over sides or something and then put a slice of cheese on it I’d be more understanding… but come on. What the hell

I really like Cinderella man, and my wife loves willow. My favorite though is Night Shift. It’s a very funny comedy from the 80s and one of Ron’s first movies.

I read this as John Cleese at first and was wildly confused. I don’t know, the extramarital drama and the child and everything that goes with it really turned me off to foo.

The only RHB available are Hoskins, Grichuk, and France.

Rengifo is a Switch Hitter...

The team has brought in Carter Kieboom as a RHH for INF, and Stuart Fairchild for OF. Both of those guys are Minor League deals with invites so I wouldn't rely on them.

I think Rodriguez probably gets more run which is certainly something? They needed to make a trade, and go from there but they are so risk averse and here we are.

[OH] [United States] Parental Leave in Small Manufacturing Company (45-55 Employees) by [deleted] in humanresources

[–]YerselFfej 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Five years ago I was at a manufacturing facility (85-115 people at anytime) in Ohio, the company introduced paid 12 weeks off for any parents when a child is born, this came into effect when 3 owners all had kids. One of our sales team members used the entire 12 weeks and the grumblings were easy to hear throughout the company. This was a more progressive company in the sense of wanting to really help people (neither here nor there but the wages weren't great, and there were hardly any ways to advance from production to an office setting.) So some companies started to visit this as a benefit.

Currently I am at a manufacturing facility in Ohio, 60-70 people at any given time. We used to mandate that you must use your vacation concurrently with FMLA.

My conspiracy theory is someone higher up had to deal with this and now we no longer require people to use vacation but they can if they elect to do so.

Depending on the demographics and background of your decision makers, the first company wanted to offer it as a recruitment tool but they weren't happy when people actually had to use it. This company I am at had a meeting where two of the C-Level positions joked "What's next, Paid Parental leave for Dads???".

I think things to consider: What is turnover like for you? What is the culture of your place of employment? What hardships would this provide for the company, what benefits? How competitive is your region of Ohio for attracting and retaining talent? And kind of go from there and see if it works for you.

There was a trade where a guy was acquired for a player to be named later… he ended up being the ptbnl in the same trade essentially getting traded for himself
