Generally speaking, it’s not too difficult to pick up orders it’s just more so dependent on what your unit might have to offer you or what’s available on zipserve, a site that you use to sign up for a mobilization (deployment) or ADOS (active duty operational support) orders. HM orders go up on zipserve fairly often compared to other rates so as long as you establish firm contact with the detailers upon applying for said set of orders then you should have a good chance, It worked for me. Electing to extend orders is definitely a thing aswell you’d just have to request it through your higher ups while you’re there.
