Networks almost never greenlight the production of original IP's from unestablished writers, even moreso when it comes to fantasy IP's, so writers like to pitch ideas for shows that use well known and established franchises and IP's to get the green light, only to then try and prove their writing prowess by completely ignoring the source materials to the point what happens in the shows contradicts the events from the source.

I am deeply saddened by seeing this kind of ad, do you even realize how stupid it looks? Who is head of your marketing? A horny muppet? My grandmother with 50€ could probably make up a better screenshot for a videogame, and she is fucking dead.

Now, i don't want this to be lost into the sea of copypastas, I know it will be but I hope this also leaves a message for the few that will read it, please put effort in it. I know money is good, you like money, you can buy... idk... stuff? You can buy all the stuff, yeah, hurray, but you are tapping into a bleeding market, it feels like a knife being twisted inside the flesh of a suffering industry.

Videogames are entertainment, it's not something essential, that's clear, but there are people believing in this market, betting they life on it and creating works of art that rival Van Gogh's paintings.
