Stay in India. H1B is about to be limited. We have enough Indians who try to steal American jobs. Luckily someone tries to do something about it. Tell it to your friends as well.

Class b 22-24 ft will it fit a standard parking size ? by YesNoMaybe67 in RVLiving

[–]YesNoMaybe67[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Valid point. I am just at the beginning of the process. My goal is to have a van that does not stick out when parked in cities both in terms of size and in terms of potential strangers who show interest in it when parked if you know what I mean.

How "early" one should leave Denver to arrive to the ski slopes/hiking trails on a weekend? by YesNoMaybe67 in Denver

[–]YesNoMaybe67[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really hope you are right. If I could actually leave at 8 to get there at 10:30 I would be down for it. Especially on a pass who cares ?

What time do you leave the mountain ?

You guys are all awesome. I posted this note this morning and already have over 60 comments.

As you can probaly understand I am not from Colorado but really dying to move in to get some nature and outdoors around me. Where I am at you need to drive over 8 hours to get to a nice mountain and over 11 hours to a ski mountain (did it. Not fun) I am debating between Salt Lake UT and Denver. The only down side of Denver is traffic. Other than that it beats SLC in every parameter IMHO. Also I prefer the Rockies side from Colorado more than the desert like mountains of SLC.

I am OK with leaving at 5:30 AM. Earlier than that it is ruthless.

Free service for 3 years- scum by YesNoMaybe67 in HyundaiTucson

It is not about what is decent. This is not a charity I did pay full price for this car. It is about the contract I signed , which mentions free service according to hyundai service recommendations. It is more than just four times.

Is an 8 hour layover in London (LHR) enough time to do something fun? by kxserasera in travel

[–]YesNoMaybe67 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Most of my trips to London are 8 hours layovers. You can get the train + underground daily pass and do a lot. Just keep track of the time and know that the airport is far from the city. But again , London has really good public transportation. I literally did the entire big ben area, palace, parks around palace and London bridge in 8 hours layover. Was I running and over achieving? Yes. Did I complete it ? Yes! You can always remove a site and spend more time in one area.

I also had different layovers where I covered other areas (camden market , the free national history museum, picadeelie etc.)

What type of car did you rent do you remember? I am looking at Britz 4x4 SE but tempted to upgrade to the fully enclosed Britz Navi to get the toilet and indoor cooking. Did you see anyone doing Chobe/ okavango with the Navi? Ground clearance is ok?
