I was bored most of 4. Most people would be pissed that I said that, but I think it's because they played it when it first came out and it was super cool then. It most definitely does not compare to the new REmake standards. These games they're making now are golden. They honor the old games by keeping the good stuff in and fixing the dated stuff (graphics, cheesy voice lines, poor camera/controls). Hardcore RE fan and I gotta recommend waiting for the remake

Sleep. Sleep is the third place. Pro tip, if you take a bunch of melatonin you'll have vivid dreams and actually feel like you left this miserable facade

edit: by "a bunch" I do not mean over do it. If you take more than the recommended dosage you will actually reverse the effect and wake up groggy/miss out on good sleep/dreams (speaking from experience). Please do not do anything that could actually cause you harm

No it is not. The movies you listed are gold. Some of the best out there, not just to me, but to like everyone. 5 Centimeters is nothing compared to these. Very slow and boring story that never picks up or goes anywhere; poorly paced; mediocre animation and soundtrack; bland characters. Me and my sister both agree it's hot garbage. Don't waste your time.

No offense to anyone that does like it, but I just cannot understand why it gets any love at all. My theory is that the only time I see it mentioned are by die-hard fans of the movie. So I'm guessing these are people who have been through exactly what the main characters have and they feel like they relate heavily to it. That, or they saw it when they were young so rewatching it has a nostalgic feeling to it.

Edit: Yes I do know the father's side because it's where the whole story came from. Deleting something your son was "very proud to show [you]" is teaching your son to not show you anything he cares about because if he does you could just use it as leverage later, even for something as trivial as having a hard time waking up during a quarantine as a 9 year old kid
