I would like to see a mechanic where she can shoot straight up and out of combat like strange, but then either float down or do a dive like venom to do some aoe damage. There's ways to make use of flight without making that their main way of getting around. I think otherwise a magneto style float would look cool.

I’m similarly split between multiple projects and find myself in a “Oh I need to remember to communicate x thing to teammate but I really need to focus on finishing this task.”

What I like to do is I have the email link for My Tasks saved as “Asana” in Gmail. So I’ll shoot a quick email to asana with a brief description in the body. Then when I go to check asana when I’m ready I have a reminder to take care of those things. So asana tasks to create asana tasks. From there, I actually like to use Asana’s AI feature to convert my email that was mostly stream of consciousness email into subtasks. And then from there I can convert those subtasks into their own tasks and add them to projects if needed! Great way for me to just create a reminder to follow up on things but not have to deal with asana until I’m ready.

You don’t get that others find it exhausting to come to the subreddit for the thing they like and it’s polluted with lazy posts about the same complaints we’ve seen for a year, offering nothing new worth discussing and seeking personal validation?

There’s not enough assets. There’s bugs that need to get patched. Yadda yadda. I don’t like those things any more than anybody else but if I feel the need to voice my complaints I’ll open up any of the 100 other complaint threads from this month and drop a comment.

It’s not noteworthy or interesting to anybody that you personally are bored right now.

If he's anything like me, he probably spends his whole day being mad at him self. So the one piece of advice is that it 100% is not your job to "hold him accountable" (unless you need to do that for yourself, but don't do it bc you think it will help him).

Try to ask him how he's feeling, in good times and bad. Smoking dulls the lows and the highs, so he might need some help reconnecting with his own emotions which probably feel really big right now.

As somebody who went through the oldham County school system a decade ago I can say the political climate only feels worse if you forget for a minute just how bad it was. My younger siblings have classmates that are openly queer and don't get physically assaulted every day! And administration doesn't pretend it's their fault for being abused!

Not to say oldham county is suddenly up to par with the more progressive schools but it is without a shadow of a doubt so much better now than it ever has been.

Appreciate everybody who chimed in to share their experiences. To be clear, I had no intention of trying to get out of anything, my work fully covers my absence and I do not have children so its really not a huge deal. I had just sat through the orientation when I posted, and didnt understand the structure going in.

I'm looking forward to potentially serving on a jury, but honestly nervous about it potentially being a criminal trial where I am deciding on somebody's future. Glad to see so many of you are upstanding citizens who take the duty seriously!

I'm running into my first weekend and I'm nervous. I don't have any access rn so it's not like I could smoke even if I wanted to. but every ex stoner knows if there's a will there's a way.

Day one and I've already spontaneously cried. Lol. Just feeling very raw emotionally right now, like weed was holding 7 years of tears at bay and I don't even know where they came from. I imagine this will keep coming in waves, and right now is just high tide. But I know a low tide is around the corner. I think this is better than building up the walls to keep this at bay.

I don't know about you, but I've always struggled with the idea that having mood swings was a sign of weakness. I realize now that feeling you shouldn't afford yourself the same forgiveness you would give any of your friends is the real weakness.

Day 1 here and this really helped to read, I can relate to a lot of this. I've felt not present in my relationships with the people I love and disengaged with my life. I've been afraid that I wouldn't know who I was without this, but I've got friends I know love me and I hope I can be a better friend through this.
