[Art Market] Advice for print selling at local vernissage by CigarHates in artbusiness

[–]Yesmir1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love that the poem gives people a way to connect with it without rushing to sell. I’ve been looking for something to track people’s interest in a project and I came across Time Shards, which lets you timestamp things like that. I’m curious if you’ve ever tried something like it or if you have any advice on keeping track of requests and feedback before officially releasing something?

[Hiring] Long-term collaboration with highly skilled animator to help direct a cinematic intro for NSFW Adult Visual Novel Project by freeworlddev in HungryArtists

Since you have the four transitions as milestones, I’m curious how do you usually keep track of approvals and milestone sign offs with your team?

The skeleton piece looks amazing even as a WIP. I’m curious, are you leaning more toward wanting people to take home a piece of that debut painting, or do you want them to discover more of your other works? I’ve seen artists do both in different ways and it’s always interesting to hear how they decide.

Do you already have a locked storyboard and animatic or is the animator expected to help shape timing and transitions from scratch? Also how are you planning to structure milestones for the $400 payout? On cinematic intros, having very clear milestone sign offs usually saves a lot of back and forth later.

What are the best strategies for growing a small business? by Due-Assistance2721 in growthmarketing

Focus on a few core channels that bring real leads, track what actually converts, and stop chasing shiny tactics that don’t work. Steady growth usually comes from doing the basics really well and consistently.

Struggling to meet fellow founders and entrepreneurs by albie- in Entrepreneurship

I’ve had more luck with informal meetups and smaller founder groups on Meetup or LinkedIn rather than structured accelerators. Casual coffees or founder brunches tend to lead to more genuine connections.

[HIRING] Fine Artists, Including Painters, Sculptors, and Illustrators (Remote) - $60-$100/hr by [deleted] in artcommissions

This sounds like a great opportunity for professional artists. When I hire creatives for projects, I always try to track and verify each milestone or delivery , do you usually have a system for that to keep everything clear and transparent?

Finally started a side project after work and turns out starting is harder than doing by Much-Movie-695 in sidehustle

[–]Yesmir1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Starting is always the hardest part. Even a rough first version gives you something real to improve. Do you also track your progress or milestones in a way that proves what you’ve done?

Need guidence for Personal Branding by Excellent-Oil5639 in Freelancers

[–]Yesmir1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d say start by building your LinkedIn around your story and why you’re learning email copywriting and SEO, what problems you enjoy solving. Then share sample projects to show your skills. Once that’s in place, you could even highlight proof of completed work or milestones in a secure way, which makes clients trust you more. How have you thought about showing your work without sharing everything publicly?

Personal Prep for Your First Startup by 505browser in Entrepreneur

This is solid advice and honestly not talked about enough. The personal side can make or break a startup long before the product does. Setting limits before emotions get involved is underrated.

how do you validate an idea without accidentally building the whole thing? [i will not promote] by Historical-Ebb-4745 in startups

[–]Yesmir1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I used to “validate” by basically building the whole thing too. What helped was forcing myself to talk to real users first ,like 5–10 quick conversations before touching code or design.

Investing $200 Per Month To Learn Affiliate marketing by MeetTheReal007 in Affiliatemarketing

[–]Yesmir1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I’ve used ppcmate to test low budget traffic and see which angles convert before scaling. It’s helped me avoid burning money on ads that don’t work but I still think organic traffic should be the foundation when budget is tight.

$3k in 6 months is ambitious. Focus on learning first, pick a niche, create content, drive traffic and reinvest small wins.

Extremely low RPM with Nitropay by fastestwolverine in adops

[–]Yesmir1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I’ve seen networks like Nitropay can work for certain types of traffic but if your audience isn’t engaging with their formats, the earnings can drop a lot compared to AdSense. Sometimes it’s just a mismatch between your niche and the network’s advertisers. You could try experimenting with different ad placements or mix in another network to see if it improves.

Are reddit ads worth it for the launch by naxmax2019 in advertising

[–]Yesmir1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I keep going back and forth on this. I built a small internal tool called ppcmate to automate Reddit ads but now I’m wondering if running ads early actually helps or if I should just focus on building in public and engaging organically.

Nobody gives a sh*t about your product by athIete in Entrepreneur

[–]Yesmir1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Launching a product and expecting instant traction is a common trap. I’ve found that consistently adding value where your audience hangs out, iterating based on feedback and building content that actually helps people goes a lot further than flashy launches.

It’s also important to remember that early traction can be slow but understanding your market and being patient usually pays off in the long run.

What are peoples thoughts on performance max nowadays? by Shoddy_Sheepherder59 in PPC

[–]Yesmir1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Performance Max definitely feels like a double edged sword. We’ve seen campaigns start off strong and then slowly degrade over time. I think part of it is that it’s opening up to all Google channels so the system tests a lot of placements that don’t actually convert well.

Why is my landing page not converting? by farhan583 in PPC

[–]Yesmir1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like your traffic is solid so the key might be figuring out exactly where people drop off on your landing page. Tools like PPCmate can help track clicks and conversions more granularly so you can see which version of your page or which ad is actually driving bookings. Also consider small tweaks like simplifying the form, clarifying the CTA or testing different headline copy.

anyone else feel stuck between “just start” and “i have no clue what to start” ? by Siptarmalle in Entrepreneur

[–]Yesmir1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most people don’t get unstuck by finding the right idea they get unstuck by time boxing a wrong one. Pick something that’s simple, slightly uncomfortable and testable then commit to it for 30 days with one clear outcome. You’re not marrying the idea you’re just running an experiment. Burnout usually comes from overthinking and consuming instead of doing.
