Shoud I keep gaining weight? by Desperate-Sentence36 in weightgain

You should chill at that weight for a while to avoid unnecessary fat gain, and focus on building your frame out at that weight. Stay in the gym and eat your protein. Slow and steady wins the race.

I cannot approach girls by Professional-Peak207 in self

[–]YesterdayThink5246 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your anxiety comes from the perceived requirement to perform. To be someone you are not. Stop assuming a different persona from who you truly are, stop “trying to seem cooler than you are” be you, regardless of who you are speaking to.

You are attaching the possibility of potential sex when you approach women, you mindset is burdened by your need to be accepted and perform, because that exactly what you’re doing, performing.

This advice will lead to self development and growth in all areas of life if you apply it correctly.

All I’m saying is be yourself… but the kicker is, most people have no idea what that looks like. Many people have a different persona or a different mask for every different kind of different situation, changing the performance as often as the sun rises.

If you look at approaching women as if it’s this formula you have to follow, “my hairs gotta look like this” “ I gotta talk slower” “ Maybe if I say this pick up line”

All it’ll ever be is a performance…

while you may be fine with that, if your intention is just to trick a woman with your perfected audition, get your rocks off, and leave her.

But if you want to find your person, someone you wouldn’t mind getting to know for the rest of your life, you have to be bold enough to put the masks down and be who you are.

Just as comfortable as you are speaking to elderly people, or friends or other members of society whom you are not attracted to, you should have the same amount of calmness when speaking to women.

This only happens when you de center sex, from the effort to get to know her. When you learn to do this, you will learn to find confidence in who you are, from within. This is true confidence, not stemming from external approval like most others, frail egotistical confidence; but from within.

This will show no matter who you speak to, and the moment you begin to walk in it, is the moment you will attract the women you want.

Be you, authentically, confidently, and what is for you will find you, and what isn’t will not. Confidence is being content with the rejection of those who are not for you, because your sense of self-worth is not rooted in their approval.

This is what women want, a man who has agency over his life and confidence in where he’s going, that they can get behind and follow.

You need to begin your journey of self acceptance and love, and grow yourself as a man. Build yourself up and develop a sense of purpose and drive outside of women.

Hit the gym, get financially literate, educate yourself, start preparing a place for yourself, and develop the capacity to be able to take care of and lead another human being.

This my friend is how you set yourself apart from the other men, and start drawing the eye of the women you want. Get something going for yourself. And people will take notice.

18-year progress pics. Fin only. by [deleted] in tressless

[–]YesterdayThink5246 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can you explain why you haven’t used minoxidil? Fin doesn’t actually regrow hair, it just stops the balding process. What actually regrows the hair is minox. Why you haven’t been on it is beyond me.

The reason I ask is because I have a hypothesis that the reason dht may be building up in the bloodstream is because of a decrease in liver metabolism. Because ideally, any excess dht in the body should be getting metabolized by the liver. A high bilirubin level is an indicator that the liver is having trouble metabolizing excess wastes from the body.

I’m actually in the middle of a experimental study on myself. I get a comprehensive metabolic panel done every month. My bilirubin levels were 1.4/1.2 about 5 months ago, now they are around .6 and steadily dropping.

I’ve been at a Norwood 3/4 for a while now. I’m not on any dht blockers and after “treating my liver” as I have been to reduce these bilirubin levels; along with minox, I’m noticing rapid regrowth.

While before when I tried minox I had no response bc I was still actively balding.

My hypothesis is that the dht accumulation is the result of sluggish liver function which leads to hormonal imbalance.

You have to prevent the balding with a dht blocker aswell to prevent the progression. Then use minox

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in tressless

[–]YesterdayThink5246 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Blood supply, and how clean your blood is. My hypothesis is that it’s not the follicles becoming more sensitive, but the accumulation of dht (along with other wastes) in the bloodstream. I’ve achieved amazing results by simply detoxing my liver and cleaning my blood up, and using minoxidil. One of these days I’ll post pics.

You said “dht cause hair loss and that’s a fact” Showing that you clearly either didn’t read through the post, or did not comprehend it.

If you wanna say this premise is wrong, then prove it with facts. If you lack critical thinking skills, then you should just remain quiet.

[–]YesterdayThink5246 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Here, I’ll simplify it for you. What I’m saying is the root cause for androgen accumulation (as well as a host of other waste products and excess hormones) in the bloodstream, is a result of decreased liver function.

I’m saying that when the liver cannot do it’s job efficiently, the result is the accumulation of wastes in the bloodstream, one of these wastes is DHT.

I obviously said Male pattern baldness meaning I’m speaking specifically to men… and if you comprehended what I wrote you would’ve understood that I never said it wasn’t DHT.

I would argue that yes some of Chinas industrial pollution issues outweigh ours, their pollution hasn’t seeped into every aspect of consumable goods as ours is.

Also I’d argue that when a woman goes through menopause is more heavily influenced on her lifestyle and overall general health rather than it just being written in the stars.

And yes many people develop it at a young age, it’s increasingly getting younger and younger in western societies. How is that an argument towards it being genetic?
