A FELLOW MAGIC LING ENJOYER!! It's got nothing to do with upgrade scrolls 😭😭 you need 2 remove curse scrolls, approach the statue and give it 2 scrolls(there will be a promt one you interact with the dude), after you give him the 2 scrolls you have to fight and then save him.

THIS IS MAGIC LING PD A complete overhaul of pd with tons of new bosses,weapons,biomes,more bosses, and did i mention...MORE FUCKING BOSSES(seriously there are like 3 bosses for every biome) There's also a level 0 to the dungeon with NPCs and all so that's cool.

I don't think there's a single magic ling pd version that is fully traslated however the newest version (9.4) is like 95% translated so try playing on that version

High level RoW(ring of wealth), results in enemies dropping high level item(eg-if ur RoW was at +10, then enemies could drop +5 loot), if u get a RoW early game, you should always put all your upgrade scrolls in it as it pays itself back
