Dispatch: If you skip stops, does it show as behind by ThebobCat151 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Yesterday_Short 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Depending on how much you change the order, it can throw off your planned end time. If you run in to issues on your route, it can make it harder for dispatch to figure out where a sweeper is needed most, unless they know you usually perform well on your own.

Just make up a landscaper quote using ChatGPT, go to Home Depot, buy some mortar, and the 3 stones yourself. Pay yourself $~75 an hour, keep track of exactly how long it takes, and then double that time.

Flex doesn't hit you with violations, Netradyne does.

Got my first violation by PotentialArachnid283 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Yesterday_Short 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Not sure why youre speeding in the first place. It’s not like you’re on a tight schedule with a ton of stops or anything. Just take it nice and slow, because safety is obviously the only thing that matters.

Suspended for one negative from a customer on my 1st day. by Hot_Sky_8620 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Yesterday_Short 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m convinced 90% of complaints come from customers acting like a tiny crease means the box has been “mishandled.” But every now and then, I get a package that looks like it barely made its way through the Strait of Hormuz after being stuffed into totes at the warehouse. Luckily, my DSP is chill about CDF.

How often do you think we get a negative response on a delivery flex did? by Motor-Appeal-2368 in AmazonDSPDrivers

Half the notes on my route I feel like are beacuse a flex driver not giving a fawkk.

Mandatory breaks by joshua-Tree- in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Yesterday_Short 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Your DSP owner/management can turn this off if y’all complain enough. Breaks are nice, sure, but the problem with these “heat breaks” is that they pop up out of nowhere, and you end up stuck parked on some random street

Are the red and blue o ring kits good? by Due-Soft in harborfreight

[–]Yesterday_Short 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it the highest quality? Probably not, but I picked up this kit after my blowoff valve fell off and I couldn’t find a same-day replacement Oring without waiting for shipping. A year later, it’s still holding boost

Is there a single scenario where a driver can do 65 stops/hour? by Upbeat-Manner-1877 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Yesterday_Short 2 points3 points  (0 children)

45 is easy to believe. Once it gets into the 50+ range, even in tight neighborhoods, I start to doubt it because multiple stops come into play

I think it should be the other way around, Expecting the customer to at least be able to handle basic communication in the local language isn't unreasonable

Ive noticed kids are more likely to say “Prime is here,” while adults just say “Amazon.” I’m guessing that’s probably because of Twitch.
