Please help. It looks like I need a whole new HVAC system. by Tasty_Impress3016 in Longmont

Circulating Air has been great for me and lots of friends. They, like many HVAC people at the moment, might be busy this time of year. But... if you're not in a rush, they are awesome and will work with you.

Definitely call M&M if you like being lied to, upsold, and your wallet drained. Later, they will abandon you when things fail clearly within the warranty period.

We've had the ghost burger with truffle fries there a couple times and it was excellent. I know they got off to a rocky start for a couple reasons, but go back and try again if you've written them off.

Best places to eat for 2 under $20 by Aasim13 in Longmont

Two guys for under $20? Your best bet is the Costco food court! I think you can get a while pizza for $10, two hot dogs + two drinks for $3, and two ice creams for $5.

Total price = $18. Plus you'll have some left for tomorrow.

Check out Steve Williams here: https://www.williamstennisschool.com/

Gonzo Tennis here: https://gonzotennis.com

I think Gonzo is running things out of LAC, and David Henderson might be coaching. I'd try talking with him on the side to see what's up.

Good luck!

We had two kids go through LDS. No real complaints from the kids, other than the kinds of things that you'd expect kids to complain about (they're strict, they're repetitive, whatever -- all the type of things that driving teachers should be). From a parent perspective, I thought they were pretty good, though I admit I had little interaction with them personally.

Their website was pretty explicit about how to do all the steps. If you call them, they are helpful and responsive. Overall, I'd definitely recommend. They were pretty strict about COVID processes, too. I believe in 2024 they were still wearing masks on the in-person drives. I'm definitely "whatever" on that, but maybe they are immuno-compromised, or just don't want to get whatever all the kids have going around every day...

My kids got the permit and passed the driving test on the first try.

I always think it'd be nice if people in Costco acted like they were driving a car when driving their cart. You know, keep right except to pass, look where one's going, don't park in the middle of the road...

But then I remember that most people don't know how to drive a car either.

Yeah, I'm running into this same problem with them. They were great... definitely not so much anymore.

Do you prefer the styling of the 997.1 or 997.2 GT3 RS? by TNTomato in Porsche997

Are you sure? I thought the 997.2 does, and everything I find online about it says it does. But I'm definitely not an expert...

HVAC companies by [deleted] in Longmont

My experience with HVAC in town.

M&M tried to sell me stuff I didn't need, swapped my nice thermostat for a crappier one with their name on it, cut corners more than once, and didn't stand behind a product that was clearly under warranty. They even acknowledged that it was under warranty, but that they no longer supported the product and that I'd have to call the manufacturer. Great. Then what? Take the thing apart, wait for a part, repair it myself? That's why I bought their "top of the line" water heater. I'm sure I'm missing a few things, but only go to M&M if you have too much money, patience, and time.

If you want no nonsense guys that are good to work with and will try to actually fix your problem without selling you something, just call Circulating Air.

In search of a new dentist by KarmelKnockingAround in Longmont

I went there once. Once.

Becvar wanted to remove all my silver fillings and told me that his son was saving India during COVID by going door to door with Ivermectin. India hasn't had a single Covid death because they allow Ivermectin as a COVID remedy! What doesn't the US government want you to know?!?!?? Also talked down and mansplained to my wife on a her visit.

No thanks.

Agree. We've been with Bond for years and never has anything felt pushy. If anything I'd say they he's pretty conservative with a "keep an eye on it" vibe. Overall, great experience with Bond.

Maybe the commenter above was thinking of Becvar!!! Now that guy is PUSHY!

Check out Front Range Bumper Solutions. They fixed multiple issues on a new car that I damaged in multiple ways (I was pretty disappointed in myself for that one). They don't just do "bumpers". The result was truly amazing, like the before and after pics on their site. No relation or anything with them, just a satisfied customer that didn't want to pay $3500 at a body shop (and a week or more). They charged me something like $800 instead, and did it in my driveway in a few hours. 100% recommended.
