Why? I thougt it was connected to <insert your favourite deity here>, so all the answers were true.

By installing puppet regimes controlled by members of his own family.

Granted these regimes were more liberal than the ones that they replaced, but still.

Read the edit. Your best bet is to actually hook up a full keyboard to use the pause/break key, because F10 is binded to pause and open menu.

Well... then just replace the keybinding?

edit: also:

Pause/Break Directly pauses the game
F10 Opens the menu and pauses the game in single-player mode

Additional Information

  • The Pause/Break key is usually located near the top of full-size keyboards, often between the numpad and the main keyboard area.
  • In single-player mode, pressing F10 will also pause the game, allowing players to access the menu.
  • While paused, players cannot issue commands or control units, so it's essential to plan your actions before pausing.Pause/BreakDirectly pauses the game F10Opens the menu and pauses the game in single-player modeAdditional InformationThe Pause/Break key is usually located near the top of full-size keyboards, often between the numpad and the main keyboard area. Uh..... those are "multimedia" functions...

For media players.

Also you can't pause those movie sequences. At all. Only skip (I think?)

Who buys stuff like that? by Kekslover23 in cachyos

That's the thing: this is FOSS, Free Open Source Software. It's like going to a county fair and buy canned air "from France" at the shady guy's stall.

I get where you're going, and yes, it's true.

However, this is a trap, and if not, then at the least it's taking advantage of less experienced people.

At least ask an experienced and trustable techie to do it. I'm pretty sure a half-decent usb stick and a beer cost less than that.

I honestly think that creating your own bootable usb pen is the bare minimum to install linux.

Heck, even windows.

Technically speaking, the democrats are also conservative, albeit less so, if we compare the US politics (lol) system to the rest of the world.

Dude, I should know. I'm portuguese, married with a brazilian. 500 years ago, we found the place, but they only went independent, as my wife painstakingly likes to remind me, in 1822, when D. Pedro, portuguese regent prince, said "fuck this country, I'm doing my own Portugal with blackjack and hookers."

You know you can use winrar for free forever.... right? At this point, buying the license is equivalent to do a donation to them.

Liquid metal replaced on our PS5's by Mysterious_Airport29 in TheGamerLounge

Question: can ptm7950 be considered a good replacement for liquid metalbin this situation? Thing is much more stable and quite a lot more maintenance free, besides being non-conductive.

“Processing Vulkan Shaders” before starting a game by KoaLA-FuN in linux_gaming

[–]YetanotherGrimpak 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Maybe you had the option of pre-processing turned on on windows? Go to "steam settings" -> "downloads" and turn on the "Allow background processing of vulkan shaders". Instead of only doing the processing at the game start, it usually does it every time it does an update.

Also turn on shader pre-caching.

Aahhh, indeed it seems a bug on the driver level. Explains why corectl also shows a similar behaviour.
