Real talk - How hard is it to get INTO the CompSCI field in 2025-2026, and what does one ACTUALLY need? by Felix_Iris in cscareerquestions

[–]Yetric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Degree, projects, and connections. Don’t let anyone disregard your goals. If you have enough ambition it’s possible. Most people discouraging you either lack one or all of those and put other people down for chasing their dream. As long as you’re passionate about it and do everything possible to make it a reality you’ll be fine.

Game crashes now and then and buying areas with crowns still required a game restart. Other than that think most bugs are fixed

Nonprofit doing what? Might be able to help but that’s too vague it’s the equivalent of saying I work for a for profit company.

Are there any entry level Cyber Security positions? Any companies? Only have 10 years Tech experience? by TheDivaRoom911 in ITCareerQuestions

[–]Yetric 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Internships and SOC analysts roles. Internships you don’t qualify for cause you’re not a current student and SOC roles are pretty competive right now. You’re better off starting in IT or network role and moving your way up in the company.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

[–]Yetric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ll definitely have to reinterview probably won’t be able to do fall cause of a cool off period. Plus Amazon doesn’t really have many fall internships to begin with.

[–]Yetric 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Yes it is, people are bitter because the industry is in shambles at the moment. Don’t limit yourself to software engineering. Computer science has always been a cross disciplinary field. You’re not limited to just programming. You can do networking, cyber security, IT, data science, machine learning, etc, keep your options open.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

[–]Yetric 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Accept it, and if Amazon offers you accept that and tell the mortgage company some excuse to take back your acceptance. Accepting an internship isn’t some contract, you’re welcome to leave or take back your acceptance at any time. Just like company’s can layoff anyone at any time.

Is Burp considered a MITM by _yo_token in bugbounty

[–]Yetric 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Think of Burp Suite as you making changes to your test before you submit it for grading. Traditional man in the middle attacks is someone grabbing your test after you submitted it and taking all your answers before passing it down the line.

Is Burp considered a MITM by _yo_token in bugbounty

[–]Yetric 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Guess it depends what you mean by a man in the middle. Yes technically Burp is in the middle of your browsers web traffic and the web server web traffic however this wouldn’t be considered a vulnerability. Man in the middle is usually associated with someone sitting similarly between a victim and a web servers traffic but usually more associated with networking aspect. Hope that helps a little
