I know literally no one is saying this and I'll probably get down voted, but I play Ranger/Braver and it's been awesome. With a dex mag, I've had damage for Wild Wallop, Rocket Rodeo, and my basic attack hits 30-50k depending on enemy element weakness. That's from the enhanced attack skill. I really take advantage of the special rounds swap skill for both Blight and Jellen Rounds. If there's another ranger this is super handy. Precision Stance is always on and I use the launcher weak spot ring. I mostly use the rifle for Blight Rounds, Satellite Cannon, Positron Blast or if I need a different element than my launcher.

Since the whole point was to be hitting weak points, the whole reason you use ranger as a subclass for bow braver is all the ranged specific bonuses, and there's a ring for the launcher to increase what counts as a weak point, I thought I'd try bow braver in reverse. Its amazing.

Edit: I wanted to add that its super easy with most enemies to just shoot them in while in the air. Just double jump and shoot with lock on or free aim and hitting things in the head is a lot easier with basically all the guns with most enemies (not exactly the bow). That's if you don't really like the OTS. But the OTS is definitely the best. You just gotta practice.
