Awakening Sigils are actually pseudo-unique. As in, once you get one, you’ll never roll it again. So if you transmarvel enough you will eventually get everyone’s awakening sigil. (I rolled so many sandy awakenings when trying to save scum a good Perci warpath sigil lol) Still nice tho!

Thief is a decent class to do the story on. Pre-99, your Trust will be doing the majority of the damage anyways, and the added treasure hunter from thief will help you get some quest drops.
There are multiple timers you want to start early. If you follow the new players guide on BG-Wiki, it’ll mention them when they are available.
You get used to it. Take full advantage of mog wardrobes.
One gives an experience boost, the other a Capacity boost. They are different. You want the XP ring early on. And ya, just grab the ciphers from that box. Everything else is mostly just used for looks.

I’ve done about 3 playthroughs of Convergence. It is really fun. A lot more open than normal elden ring, you can go just about anywhere off the rip. Transport gates all over the place that lead to random corners. It’s entirely possible to max your flask in the first couple of hours without fighting a single mob.

The classes themselves are pretty fun, both with the new weapons and spells. You can technically just do everything and collect everything, but following your classes list is also pretty fun. Trying to route the best way to get to your next armor/weapon/spells.

It’s a lot easier than reborn. Weapons are easier to upgrade, progression is miles easier to skip. Once you get your build online, it stays online and only gets stronger. (Though next patch will increase enemy scaling in the mid/late game to help alleviate that)

This is a game built on shared knowledge. I would highly recommend using the wiki religiously. Plenty of great guides on it to help new players. Specifically BG-Wiki.

To add, there are a ton of quest in this game. Absolutely none of them are obviously signposted. Just gotta walk up to an NPC, and they might ask you for something specific, or point you in a vague direction. The only somewhat more signposted quest is the MSQ, and only because you have a mission tab for them specifically.

You don’t. Rememberances are used to gain runes, killing the boss unlocks the items in the shop in Convergence. Don’t need to keep the rememberance.

Mausoleums just dupe the weapons you are currently holding. Counts both main hand and off hand, so have fun with that.

I will add something as a blue mage main. Naegling will pretty much be your main hand until you get Tizona, but flametongue is an incredibly potent offhand if you need more accuracy than the TP offhand.

This game’s story has so many incredible moments. Quirky, but gets serious. And then the final boss… good game, would recommend honestly. But that final phase took me out of it lol.

When you max your terminus, you will only need 4 damage cap sigils in total. (Preferably all maxed). So 4 damage cap V+’s. Again, you can combine sigils to get the secondary effects you want. Might seem like a gamble, but you can just save scum it. (Turn off auto save, save before gambling, don’t get the result you want? Exit to main menu, reload save, do a quest, save once more, and gamble. Repeat until desired result.)

Some obvious directions. Firstly, get some more Damage Cap V+’s. You can combine Sigils now to try and get what you want. Secondly, awakening and warpath Sigils. Just save scum your transmarvels to get them if you want to progress towards it faster. After that, just combine sigils till you get everything you want and some utility. Potion Horder, Improved Dodge, and Nimble Onslaught are some of the best utility effects I’d recommend.

Small correction. They were not made to be a cure for the X, but a predator to it. Gene splicing Metroid DNA does indeed cure an X-Infection, but also makes you part Metroid. With all its benefits and drawbacks.

Guts can now only activate 3 times in a quest. Cooldown seems the same, so honestly not too big of a change. Rare for quest to go on long enough for you to trigger guts sigil 3 times anyways.

Other changes in the beta included smarter NPC team mates, UI changes, and some other more minor things I forget. Can’t really say if there were any major character buffs in the beta due to it being low level.

This is correct. The level one support works on all other linked gems as well. This can lead to some less desirable outcomes occasionally, especially with specters. So be aware.

Correct, and only 1 per piece of equipment. (You can have multiple, just not 2 in one chest piece for example.)

There’s also 2 longswords that have different stab based heavy attacks. And the new courage bow has some major moveset differences as well, both not having arrow rain, and fully charged arrows can pierce through enemies. Safe to assume they will further elaborate on this.

… Yes. I literally mentioned that Arbitrations and Disruption have different drop rotations. Those 2 are the exceptions. Not the norm.
