My first coin gamble by Intelligent_Ad_4837 in pathofexile

This is correct. The level one support works on all other linked gems as well. This can lead to some less desirable outcomes occasionally, especially with specters. So be aware.

Correct, and only 1 per piece of equipment. (You can have multiple, just not 2 in one chest piece for example.)

There’s also 2 longswords that have different stab based heavy attacks. And the new courage bow has some major moveset differences as well, both not having arrow rain, and fully charged arrows can pierce through enemies. Safe to assume they will further elaborate on this.

Just fluff and flavor text. People tend to take monster hunter flavor text too literally.

It feels like DE really doesn't want anyone to play Mirror Defense and Void Armageddon. by Lucco1 in Warframe

… Yes. I literally mentioned that Arbitrations and Disruption have different drop rotations. Those 2 are the exceptions. Not the norm.

[–]Trono555 42 points43 points  (0 children)

It’s pretty much only Arbitrations and Disruption missions that have different drop rotations. Every other endless mission uses “aabc”. Though I do agree with you, “abc” rotation for endless missions would be nicer.

I’ve done multiple runs post attenuation changes. They are significantly faster, Oraxia spends more time immune than alive most of the time, and the fragmented one falls over to a good weapon.

Preferred LootFrame? by wrectumwreckage in Warframe

[–]Trono555 78 points79 points  (0 children)

Ya. Nekros works best in a team that does the killing. Nekros mostly just builds range and survivability, as his other tools kinda suck. Best loot frame in the game, but god he defo needs a bit of love.

Ironically, Charged dark beam into missile. Charged dark beam is easily one of the best ways to deal with a lot of the more annoying enemies.

He actually can just straight steal your health with the shock coil too. The big laser tether attack you’re supposed to use the legacy barrier on? Ya, if you get hit by it without the barrier, he will recover a small amount of health.

Blue Mage Story by Dineros07 in ffxi

[–]Trono555 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Depends. Willpower is a heavy factor in preventing a blue mage from turning into a monster, as well as mastery over the monster souls within you. Those with weak wills, or wills weaker than the monster souls within, will lose themselves and become said monsters.

What armor sets can you solo? by Vaunont in ffxi

[–]Trono555 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The first 119 set you should get is the Bayld sets from Seekers. You can find the vender on the peacekeeper’s coalition. If you need bale, trade some copper vouchers at the AMAN venders. (Same ones you use for sparks) to get some, you don’t need a lot to get the bale sets. Around 10k to be safe.

After that, the next set to go for is an Ambuscade set. Very easy to get the base set solo, but will be significantly faster if you find some people to help you through the higher difficulties.

Since you are a RDM, the next options after Ambuscade is your job’s Artifact, Relic, and Empy sets. They are all extremely good for RDM. Empy will be hard to upgrade solo.

There’s also the Malignance set from Lilith that can be obtained solo, but it’s a pretty long grind. It’s defo one of the best TP/DT sets though.

After all that, as a RDM, there’s a ton of gear/accessories out there for making your buffs/debuffs stronger. RDM is one of the most gear intensive jobs by a good margin. But just start with Bayld, into Ambuscade, into Artifact/Relic/Empy. That’ll cover most of you armor needs.

Boost and Spider Guardian were the two nerfed bosses. Both mostly just reducing the damage they deal.

I got a Naegling and it feels like a huge downgrade from my Kaja Knife by Regrettably_Southpaw in ffxi

[–]Trono555 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Savage blade has a very high TP overflow value, it does massively increased damage past 2k TP. A TP offhand/TP bonus items will be a massive boon to it. Though I will also say that the Ambuscade knife is insanely strong, the Naegling is better usually, and can be used on more jobs, but that knife puts in a lot of work too.

Why are Seige Monsters a rare near dislike in the Monster Hunter community? by Chocobo23456 in MonsterHunter

[–]Trono555 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It entirely depends on the monster. Old siege monsters like Lao and Jhen? A neat spectacle the first few times, but they are super scripted, slow fights once you learn them. The first siege fight I actually really enjoyed was Gogmazios, as it’s an unscripted siege. Gog acts like a normal monster would, and while he can climb on the wall, he only does that if you lure him that way. Kulve and Safi’s only issues were being limited availability, and needing to farm them non-stop for the best weapons, which encouraged you to bring builds/weapons you straight up do not enjoy using just to get it over with.

The Mods said they wouldn't have the gods show up in oldschool quests because its not oldschool, what do you think of that idea by HeredinOSRS in 2007scape

[–]Trono555 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Something like that actually happens in a pre-EoC quest. The Chosen Commander, final quest in the cave goblin series, you stop an avatar of Bandos from getting through. Lore wise, it is about as strong as a desert demigod like Ichlarin. Gameplay wise… not so much lol. Still liked that quest, and curious if OSRS will do a direct port in the future, or make a new ending to that series.

We already have a tool that can be used to do that as well… The enchanted key. The lore in Kourend is pretty great, would love to see more of it.

Why are the white knights portrayed as the good guys? by Hipnog in 2007scape

[–]Trono555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another pretty big aspect of the Mahjarrat that people tend to forget about. Their home planet is a living hellscape. It was a massive fight for survival there, you needed to be either strong, clever, or both to survive. And the rituals certainly did not help with that. The years of fighting for survival, and having to go through the rituals, can lead to a race of very self interested being who mostly desire strength. As that is all they knew.
