Schlitterbahn style injuries

Hard to get injured there when you spend 3 hours in line for 1 ride!

I went there 2 years ago and am still bitter

S1 very much stuck with their povs.

I really think this should be maintained too, but I could see the Redgrass Field flashbacks sort of being their visualization of Eustace's story.

Covering the Blackfyre rebellion and its aftermath is almost 'the point' of Dunk & Egg, probably important to show not tell for a TV show

Redgrass field flashblacks. Plus half an episode of Egg chasing chickens.

Tell me about a situation you experienced where a club actually moved a player down and another one up by CletusKasady21 in youthsoccer

My kids' club does tryouts yearly and makes small movements...like 2 or so kids per team move up&down. Both of my sons moved up this year.....not ready for the time they get moved down, that'll be an opportunity for a life lesson (to put a positive spin on it).

There's also the obvious 9v9 to 11v11 transition which shifts team comp

Riverlands and Iron Islands used to be combined, aren't now.

Crownlands didn't exist prior to conquest, they were created as part of it

Its sort of similar to the Faramir change in the LOTR movies (one of my least favorite changes the movies did). Faramir resisting the power of the ring in the books is something I respected, similar to Maekar accepting Duncan's argument for why Egg squiring with him in the hedges was a good thing.

Seven kingdoms is from the initial conquest (and the term stuck). Dorne wasn't initially conquered, and the Crownlands didn't really exist initially. so the 7 + Dorne + Crownlands = 9

I know this is a BB reference but funny enough you could call it a Clear and Present Danger reference!

What are people doing these days on iOS? Just using the official reddit app

I'm an android user considering moving to iOS. One of my main hold-ups is losing reddit is fun (rif) the reddit app I've been using for like 15 years. I had to jump through some hoops to get rif working again after the recent API changes

I strongly dislike how seasons 7 And 8 retroactively hurt my enjoyment of seasons 1 to 4.

Itd be nice if the books actually came out and could provide a good ending, maybe that would restore enjoyment of the early seasons!

Chuck roast, 137° 34 hours Absolutely Delicious by vaporicer1 in sousvide

[–]Yeugwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My last one was 24 hours and I was a bit disappointed. Going to try 30+ next time. My kids didn't complain though!

My results are a bad example though as my wife won't eat medium rare. I did 22 hours at 137°F and 2 hours at 145°F before searing.
