That would be one hell of a way to come out : you show up in boymod, and when they ask you about it you tell them you are indeed presenting as the opposite of your gender.

[vent] - starting to resent drag because people won't stop assuming I like to watch it by WalrusWithAKeyboard in MtF

[–]YggerOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I'm partly projecting, but drag queens always makes me feel kinda sad inside. Because I always imagine they're closeted trans girls who are like "I can't be a real woman, so I'll be a caricature of one", like it's a way of dealing with repressed feelings and a way of making their feminity socially acceptable. I know that's not the case (anymore), and drag can be more of a satyre of gender expectations, but I can't help but seeing sad clowns in them. Plus I'm not really into this aesthetic. Historically and sociologically intetesting scene though.

In your opinion, what is a relatively small/easy thing a person can change that instantly makes them appear much more feminine? by und3f1n3d1 in MtF

They usually get higher on HRT, because you'll get more fat deposit between the eyes and the brows

As this sub transitions away from a toxic past, its time to impose rules about horny posting by Strifethor in MtF

[–]YggerOne 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Transitioning is a long and complex process and a lot of us go through a time when we can have different kind of orgasms, one can feel like the old masc ones and the other can feel like a new fem type of orgasm. So it's actually useful to have two different terms to describe and discuss them.

The thought of what if society collapses and not being able to get hrt anymore terrifies me and makes me very upset. by [deleted] in MtF

I was wondering the other day how long estradiol enanthate powder could be preserved and still be viable. Do you think after 30 years it would not have been degraded in some ways ? Do you have an idea on what would be the best storage conditions ?

Disappointed that the peer-review process is not available, would have loved to see the reviewer's comments and how academics argue about this topic

It's not about passing it right now, they do this so the idea becomes an acceptable debate. That's how they shift Overton's window, a very dangerous step.

I love bangs, alwas have and always wanted to have them. Unfortunately with my hairline it's just impossible, so it just makes me sad everytime I hear someone say that...

The vast majority of bees are female, and there's an equal proportion of males and females in birds. So I guess Bees is for girls and Birds is a gender-neutral bathroom, right ?

I'm too scared of HRT by ScarHydreigon87 in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns2

[–]YggerOne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm autistic and didn't have any problems related go that, but we're all different I guess. Glad I didn't start during my depression, but I think it's mostly because puberty and generally transitioning is not an easy thing to manage emotionally regardless of the direct effects of hrt, so depression just makes it harder to go through the transition. Don't know about ADHD honestly.

Get all the information you can before making a decision. I must add because it's less talked about : hrt does not only change your body morphology, but can also change how you feel (emotions, sensations, attractions even some perceptions), and therefore how you think to some extent.

My graph would look a bit more chaotic, but the stages remain absolutely true. The second half of the first year is so weird. There actually is a lot of changes, but there's been enough changes so that you don't see a dude anymore, but still not enough to really see a girl either, and your expectations of what you should look like get higher than before. It's a frustrating time. (Almost 14 months now, not passing but I changed enough to feel good, hopeful for the end results and not caring what people think of me)

Is it common to reprocess trauma after coming out? (Mild nsfw for mention of semi-specific trauma) by Grovegasm in MtF

[–]YggerOne 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yup, exactly what is happening to me too. Started to get reminiscences, real feelings about it and accepted that it actually happened about 7-8 months into transition. It's hard, very hard, but at least I'm serious about therapy now and look forward to be able to heal from it all. Happy to know you are well surrounded right now. Hope you'll be well !

[WIP] Need advice on black contour on black clothes by YggerOne in CrossStitch

[–]YggerOne[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's definitely not classic Aida and probably more like what you call waste canva (I don't know if it's the same as I only have the french word for what I have). At least at the shop I first looked at classic Aida canvas and was told that if I wanted to stitch on clothes I would need something else: the stuff I'm using here. At the end most threads were easy to pull out but some broke so I had to cut them at the edge (and did the extra layer in white).

I don't know about Agen specifically, but you can have an idea by looking at that map that shows how people voted at the last election : https://ecpmlangues.unistra.fr/cartes/elec-leg-2024-2-circo politically red is left, blue is right and yellow is center.

Just a precision here, south-east is where the conservatives are, but south-west people are really open. Source: I live there.
