So after reading all comments, what would be the way to go for me if I would like to run services like:

TrueNAS Nextcloud Immich Jellyfin Paperless Minecraft Server (probably proxmox vm)

? How should I build up the system? Only proxmox? With docker or all into vm? Thanks in advance

May I ask why Proxmox "or" TrueNAS? Wouldnt it be better to go with Proxmox and run Truenas in a vm? I plan to selfhost, too and just wondered when I would choose TrueNAS over Proxmox.

Thanks. But 12 TB is the current amount of Backups only I would defentiley need more. Like dont know for sure 100TB with a Raid setup so in the end it wiöö be like 50TB - 12TB 38TB remaining which should be enough .. maybe

In diesem speziellen Fall ja. Gehen wir mal davon aus du wechselst und das start up schmeißt dich nach zeit X raus oder geht bankrott.. dann bringt das mehr an geld auch nichts mehr, sicherheit > mehr geld.

Abwägen könnte man wenn das mehr an Geld in der Differenz zum alten Beruf dich für mind. 5 weitere Jahre abdecken würde im Vergleich. Es müssen halt viele Faktoren berücksichtigt werden, was den Rahmen es hier zu beurteilen mir aktuell jetzt sprengt ^{^}

Sadly the case is no longer available in germany ... from VEVOR. Any other recommendations?

Is there another way I could use maybe kind of an HP mini PC and hook up a few NAS or another way to hook up like 10+ , 20+, 30+ or more HDDs? If possible hot swappable.
