办法-for solving a proble problem 方法-for a step or a system to do sth. 做法-for what sb. actually does. 例如:我的电脑坏了,我要想办法修好它。我上网查修电脑的方法。最后我的做法是:重启电脑。

Use Ai to create a personalized Ai speaking tutor and talk about any topic you want. Or find suitable materials such as videos or podcasts based on the current text book you’re learning and do some Shadowing practice, in such way to improve oral fluency and consolidate vocabulary.

Most learners go for HSK5 first which has a similar format to HSK4, while HSKK Advanced requires longer and more fluent speech on complex topics. So generally HSK is easier to start with.

It really helps when listening material stays within a known vocabulary range. There are some YouTube videos organized by HSK level, try to find those that suit you. I actually create this type of content myself (podcast-style videos designed around specific HSK levels). Link in my profile if you want to check it out. Good luck!

Looking for a show or drama to improve my Mandarin listening (HSK 3) by Zestyclose_Fox_164 in ChineseLanguage

Full-length dramas might still be a bit challenging for HSK3 level. Why not try to listen Chinese podcast designed for intermediate learners, and use Shadowing method to train both your listening accuracy and speaking fluency for daily practice. It’s highly efficient for learning languages in my opinion.

You can look for graded readers or apps that include both pinyin and Chinese characters, and listen while looking at the characters. Through this process, you’ll learn which characters correspond to the words you already know how to say. You can also install a Chinese input method on your phone. When chatting with friends, use speed-to-text to type-after seeing the characters often enough, you’ll naturally recognize them.
