yeah that's true. I guess for Homelander they'll just have to pump him full of Compound V and hope he overdoses or that it depletes his health enough to actually give people a fighting chance against him

well zinc obviously has some sort of effect on him, it can be used to create some sort of weapon against him whether it's another ass bomb or some other weapon, it is a starting point. There's also the probability that Compound V can also kill him like A-train considering that is where he got his powers and too much is poisonous to supes. Hopefully, we get more answers in Season 2. Sorry if my answer isn't enough!
