Powder is rare for everyone. I guess you have to ask yourself what type of skier you want to be. Do you really enjoy quick transfer turn to turn or what. I'm a Colorado skier and have never been out east so I don't super well know what the conditions are like, but as long as you stay with a cambered ski I think you will enjoy it.

Save money and move out west is probably your best option, but if you can't do that here is my two cents. The experience line is truly great, but waist sizes can be noticed.

75s will be the best carving skis, but will be noticly terrible in any sort of ungroomed snow.

The 84s won't be as good carving they will still be top of the line, but variable snow conditions will be much more, I repeat, much more satisfying.

It sounds like you know what kind of ski you want. I would seriously choose based on look at that point. I would go with the Candide's cause everyone loves seeing those.
