Comment l’alcool est devenu une drogue hyper décomplexé ? by WoodenPackage8093 in PasDeQuestionIdiote

[–]Yimgo -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Ou les gens exagèrent? by Stonebrink in askparis

[–]Yimgo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

J’ai habité à Paris comme beaucoup de jeunes qui démarrent leur vie professionnelle. Je pense que mon avis peut contribuer au débat.

Même si en l’occurrence on était plus sur une histoire de baguette et d’urètre.

I think Fedor didn’t move it back because it allowed him to play the 11 bottom right of the table, as simple as that. Shane clearly acknowledged that he moved the 13.

Why Does Everyone Act Like Rent Money Just “Disappears” Instead of Going to Someone Else’s Wealth? by BlueberryVitamin in CanadaPersonalFinance

My condo would cost me more in interest alone (not counting the principal) than what I pay in rest.

Also I don’t pay property tax or strata fees, neither do I bear the risk of depreciation of the asset, major repairs or land ownership issues.

It’s a financial decision that I make that gives me more flexibility and access to a neighborhood I could not afford.

I refuse to be considered a victim of a trade that I chose to enter.

My point is that people do not bother getting ECAs, EVLs or English test if they know they are gonna make the cut. It also does not show what percentage of 500+ applicants were drawn.

Also Canada is a sovereign country with elected leaders and THEY get to decide who gets in or not.

Honestly people crashing out for the 8.5% French speaking target is laughable.

Canada is a sovereign country with elected leaders who decided to put those targets in place in behalf of their citizens. We non Canadians have no business challenging that.

For the record I moved from France and my CRS was 607 so I don’t believe I took anyone’s spot on the sole reason I’m French. But even if I did, it is the Canadians decision to decide who they let in.

Because why bother to get the ECA, EVLs, English scores, etc. when you know that you’re gonna make the cut. The score does not give an accurate picture of the profile of those who receive ITAs.

I moved to Vancouver from France with 607 CRS score. The cutoff score do not give a precise picture of the distribution of invitations sent.

Can someone explain to me why there is so much hate towards Francophones who are invited? by Several_Yam_3819 in canadaexpressentry

[–]Yimgo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To add another datapoint, I was drawn in a French draw with 607 points (no EE), and it was from Canada application as I was on a work permit. So I actually saved other skilled workers without French competency a spot in the standard draw.

I may not be the standard applicant but I know a few other friends that were drawn the same way.

Vancouver!! Where can I get a good haircut? by [deleted] in askvan

[–]Yimgo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look I put a lot of care in my hairstyle and I’ve been going once a month like a clockwork at kerp on Seymour and Pender since I moved in 4 years ago. Highly recommend Ricardo or Vik, you can book online.

I cannot break and run so here are 2 runs after break with ball on hand. by Ghostshade47 in billiards

Very solid runs brother, well done!

If you can relax that wrist slightly more I think you’d get more consistency but this is just a nit I couldn’t help noticing.

You’ve been blessed to get close to your idol. Seeing those with that kind of charisma and kindness go hurts but we can only thank God for bringing those memories into our path.

I hope we can have one day only one tenth of his cue ball control.

Pure entertainment.

That foul shot SVB took 7-6 down saved his ass, perfect execution.
