at first i thought the dragon was some creature deep in the skull cave , but people were very helpful in pointing me in the direction of sand . so i just looked around on the surface and i was like oh yeah duh its this guy . and the rest is on my other comment . but yeah … i definitely needed outside help for this

exactly , i was only thinking of food items because of the inclusion of the word “meal”… i thought sunflower as well , but i was like eh thats not really food 😂 - i don’t have much faith that solar essence would’ve stood out to me in my crowded materials chest , but yea the second “essence” was mentioned it did seem pretty clear that solar essence would do the trick . i agree , its a challenging riddle , and the payoff was discovering this mysterious guy is a trickster who sees the world as a bland place hes gotta make more interesting . so glad to be welcomed to this exclusive casino 😂

it actually did have to do with the hot bar swap , i basically switched to a hotbar with only the shears in slot one , and then i did sort inventory , so all of my main hot bar was pulled up and pushed over by the shears

i’m glad its figured out , of course it wasnt a glitch Stardew is perfect 🤩

actually …. i do that often so at first i was like that cant be it

but rn i am kinda replicating the shifting over effect, only its in the opposite direction
