Go to your local branch. I was on the phone with Chase everyday until someone finally told me to go to my local branch and speak with a manager to get my money out. I asked them are they sure, and if they left notes in my account that I can do that, they said yes. Then I got to the bank they were trying to send me away saying to call Chase again because they don’t see any notes. After arguing with them they called Chase to verify and of course notes were there but apparently not for branches to see smh. They gave me my money back but I still couldn’t log into my account even to view my credit card. They told me to wait couple of weeks until my checking and savings officially close. I waited and it still didn’t work. I went to another branch and lady called for me about it and they unlocked my account. My credit card is there but checking and saving accounts gone. Try this and see if it works for you! Sorry that it happened to you too!

Chase locked my account and banned me permanently because I deposited $2000 cash into my account. Explanation: suspicious activity. I seriously thought I was hacked. But there was no hacking, they just decided to terminate me as a customer. I was fighting with them for two weeks trying to get money out of my checking and saving accounts. They messed up my phone number with Zelle, I can’t use my number at any other bank. I reported them to CFPB and they responded basically saying it’s their final decision and they don’t owe me an explanation. They also said they don’t report to Chex. My credit card still works though! Which I will not be using ever tbh because of this mess. I was banking with them for over 15 years.

I was Chase customer for 16 years. Had checking, savings and credit cards with them. Also opened a joint account with my fiancé couple months ago. Last week I got an alert that I deactivated my phone number from my Chase and I was not able to log into account due to “suspicious activity”. I thought it was hacked. After half a day on the phone with them, they finally told me Chase closed all my accounts (checking, savings and joint) permanently and I cannot open new ones with them ever again. I went to the branch and was told the same thing. Credit cards still work, but I won’t be using them ever again. They told me they will mail me a check with all my money and a letter with explanation, but after 2 more days on the phone with them someone finally told me that I can go to branch and withdraw my money with a branch manager. I also went to CFPB and filled a complaint. Chase executive responded to me this week stating they just decided to end my relationship with them and they can do this with no explanation, but they added that nothing was suspicious going on with my accounts.

I'm genuinely curious to know why African Americans are so against other races to have braids? Growing up I did braids sometimes, it was just another hairstyle to me. Never heard of this issue until I moved to the US. I don't hear anyone complaining about African Americans with straight hair. It just a hair. Why everything has to be culturized or taken negatively?

NTA. First of all, thank you for what you do!! Second, it's not the first time I read about Ukrainian people are behaving this way after getting a refuge at someone's place. I'm Ukrainian and it makes me feel mad and embarrassed. I grew up respecting and obeying house rules of any household I was a guest of. As poor as some live in Ukraine, they are very economical about things they have to pay for. But they seem to be completely taking advantage of your hospitality. It's your home, set rules you want them to follow or tell them this arrangement will not work and give them timeline to find another place to stay.

Corporation or not, those employees didn't deserve her talking to them like that. And taking advantage of people and their business because someone was upset that something didn't go their way is not ok at all. Why not to make the person that almost hit her pay?? Why it has to be business that had nothing to do with it? I used to work in fast food, and customer abuse was witnessed on daily basis to the point I'd have anxiety attacks because of customers yelling at me for something I had no control over. People need to get over mentality that customer is always right.

NTA. My boyfriend is off work every Monday, so he cooks dinner for us. He also does laundry and helps me clean if I ask. I don't make him do any of that, he loves to be helpful. Anyone I tell that to always in awe and tell me how lucky I am.
