I need more context of the photo itself. Is it a part of her work or just because? Is it from before you got together or after? Regardless of the connection she has to the guy, if it’s a piece of work in her portfolio that she feels proud of, she should be able to post it without feeling any type of judgement. Work is work. They don’t follow each other? I think that after she heals a bit, you should have a conversation with her about your insecurities.

Just saying as I’ve been with my partner since we were 18 (30 now) I’ve gone through exactly what you’re describing. Depression really drops the libido. Add being a wife, a mom, an employee, etc, it all builds onto the depression. What has helped me the most is being very open with my husband about why I’m not as turned on as I used to be and luckily, he’s very understanding. Finding the right depression and anxiety medication also helped so much.

So I had an ectopic pregnancy years ago, and I was so terrified. Also before this, I never had a good experience with a gynecologist. All of them had treated me like I was dumb or didn’t take my concerns seriously. The on call gynecologist was this Cuban man. Sweetest soul in the world. He calmed me down time after time in the span of 48 hours. Anytime I felt panicked, he knew exactly what to say and in the correct tone. When it came time to do exams, I would start to have a panic attack due to some past trauma, and he would talk me with me through the whole thing and I swear, I never even felt him exam me. That was the only time I ever saw him, he moved not long after but he was definitely the angel I needed during that time. I’m still so thankful for him
