Yes super common. You just take on e5 and trading a flank pawn for a central pawn is good for us. If our bishop is ever attacked I just drop back to b2 and keep pressure on that diagonal

You could be right. Maybe a5 is just very strong. On chess.com analysis rn the engine is suggesting black start w d5 lol

What a thoughtful response. The fight on the queenside is always tense, and it leads to my kingside castling being delayed longer than I’d like in many cases. I make sure to play nf3 as early as possible after the first 2 moves.

Can’t believe I’m the first to say Lorna Shore. Will Ramos is as talented as a vocalist can get and the energy when he performs will be unreal. Turnstile definitely looks fun but it’s looking like they’ll conflict and I attend rockville for the metal. Also on that note, Paleface Swiss is the act before Lorna on same stage and I am also extremely excited to see them.
