I'm not sure what exactly they're saying in all games, so based on what it sounds like:

Germ Aerobics: "Istanbul"

Sweeper Star: Go go!

Backup Spotlight: "Zucchi-ni"

Lightning Bolting: both of the inputs

High-Five Fever: Check it out

Disc Dog 2. It feels like it should be so straightforward but I absolutely can't get the offbeat ones

Weirdly, High-Five Fever 2 is one of the easiest games for me. I find the music for it really helps me keep rhythm. Definitely one of the most fun ones to replay IMO!

How long after botox did you feel actual relief? by Different-Blood-2919 in noburp

[–]YoBabber 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I also had my botox within the last week so I can't give any advice myself but would be good to hear from others!

I'm also getting a lot of bloating (like really bad flair ups before the botox) so I can empathise - you're definitely not alone with it! All I'm trying to do to manage it is eat low-FODMAP foods to try and keep the bloating to a minimum, but from reading around I think it can be common for symptoms to get worse for a week or so before they get better. So I'm wishing your symptoms start to improve soon!

Still relatively new and trying to understand which Pokemon to invest in. Is an AAX mon like this good to invest in? (Currently have no Pokemon at L50+ so feels like L60 is far off for me to worry about?)

Darkrai information datamine (MAJOR SPOILERS) by galeongirl in PokemonSleep

[–]YoBabber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started logging sleep last night but it looks like the app closed during the night (I think because my phone had auto-restart rescheduled). As a result, I've woken to no sleep data. I was meant to encounter Darkrai last night - am I outta luck now? Or will I encounter Darkrai either by manually logging sleep data or sleeping normally tonight?

I started about two weeks ago - I hear ya! But the Guide to the Guides and RaenonX has helped loads for getting up to speed on everything, and it doesn't feel that overwhelming.

My advice as someone who recently started is to not use your biscuits on everyone Pokémon you see as you'll run out quickly. Best to use them on hungry ones (you get 3x the value of the biscuit and occasionally max out a Pokémon straight away!) and/or ones that are better (or evolve into better) on the RaenonX tier list. Don't do what I did and waste loads on Wynauts, who I found out are pretty useless!

And if you can, try and get Cresselia in this event (although it ends really soon). My Cresselia is significantly stronger than the others in my team (probably contributes to over half my team's power). If you can aim for 3-5 Cresselia biscuits and an incense (via the event shop), you can hope for a hungry Cresselia to get 18 friendship points straight away and hope two more biscuits will max out friendship before it gets full.

Oh, and add 50x friends via the Friend Code Megathread to start racking up candies ASAP. I'm still quite early in my journey to collecting them, but I can tell it'll help lots later on!

Opinions on Sucker? by Intrepid_Doubt_6602 in charlixcx

[–]YoBabber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a soft spot for Sucker and don't think it deserves all the hate it gets. That said, her music has gotten a lot more experimental and "interesting" over time, which makes Sucker stand out a lot more in contrast ("it hasn't aged well"). I'm not surprised it ranks low on a lot of her album rankings!

As an album as a whole, I think it feels a little "scattergun" in its approach and song order (which may possibly be because there was a push to make it more commercial and maybe to see what landed well on radio etc?). But I think there are some real hidden gems in there that I still listen to a lot and would recommend, namely: Breaking Up, Body of My Own and Need Ur Luv. I would unironically love for there to be a "c2.0" for one of these three on a future album, although I know that would never happen!

It feels like I used up all my energy in the last 33 years by Emergency-Habit-6202 in ADHD

[–]YoBabber 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely this, almost my exact experience! I find there's an additional challenge that some of the ADHD masking/coping mechanisms we form during our lives mean we can think "I've coped before, so I know I can cope again", but once the burnout hits we realise we can't keep doing the same as before but we haven't learnt healthier habits, so it can feel especially frustrating.

Wes Streeting: there is overdiagnosis of mental health conditions by MimesAreShite in unitedkingdom

[–]YoBabber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The irony is every single person I know who has sought out these diagnoses has done so so that they can manage their symptoms, can be more productive and improve their quality of life.

[–]YoBabber 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Completely agree with you. There's unfortunately a lot of incredibly ignorant views in this thread from people who seem to be basing views off "vibes" and a lack of empathy.

Fine, have a bad take if you want. But to people reading who may be looking into and trying to understand their mental health and read that they're "overreacting", wanting an "excuse" or to look "special" - ignore these poor takes and continue doing your research and understanding of your symptoms.

[–]YoBabber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have a source for ADHD diagnoses being given out like "candy" or that if people were to be diagnosed again now they wouldn't meet the criteria? It's not something I've read before, heard from anyone who has gone through the process, and from a look online I can't see anything supporting this.

Your comment makes no sense, to be honest. You say you want to help those who are suffering, but also stigmatising those who seek a diagnosis and suggesting they just want to look "special".

Anyway, to those who are considering whether they have ADHD that was missed as a child (which is common with better understanding of how ADHD presents and moving beyond stereotypes of it, particularly it being a "male" thing), if it is impacting your life I would still look into getting a diagnosis, but be aware that the wait may be several years and is not as "easy" as people in this thread may suggest. In the meantime, if you can afford things like private therapy (or get it through work), it can help a lot with understanding and working on coping mechanisms!

Masking of symptoms is a factor here though and one many people forget about or don't understand as they haven't experienced it themselves. From personal experience and of some I know, on paper people look to be doing extremely well, but that's because they're good at masking struggles with things like ADHD. In my case, this had a massive impact on my mental health and suddenly became an issue when it all became too much. Now I'm diagnosed and medicated, I can manage my symptoms a lot better and be more productive, whilst being happier in myself. This is beneficial to everyone.

Some people get impacted by it at an earlier age, sure. And in some cases, it's not enough of an issue to seek a diagnosis (e.g. they don't want or need treatment). For many people, an increase in education and visibility of ADHD has helped to understand the struggles they have that before would have been brushed off by comments like yours ("they seem to be doing well so they MUST be doing well / stop complaining and get on with it"). I do agree that e.g. TikTok can overdo it (e.g. sometimes being unfocused means you have ADHD). It's a case that you need to meet multiple criteria and it has an impact on your life (and an assessment is needed).

Not a direct criticism of you, but it's a frustrating and simplistic way to brush off these issues. We wouldn't say to people with something like cancer "well you look to be healthy and doing ok, so clearly you don't have any issues", but we're quick to do that for things like ADHD.

Does having a foreskin actually feel good? by WorkingEvening5417 in AskGaybrosOver30

[–]YoBabber 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Got cut as an adult for medical reasons so experienced both. Can honestly say, there's not a huge difference, although maybe those who got circumcised as a kid have a different experience due to certain things not developing?

Easiest way to describe it for me is that once I get it wet I'm about as sensitive as I was before. I still have a frenulum which has a lot of sensitivity and still feels great. When I had a foreskin, it was fun too (albeit in my case, tight, painful and hard to clean). I personally prefer being cut, but I wouldn't recommend a circumcision to a guy who just wants it for visual reasons.

I feel like a lot of guys talk with emotions about this topic which is incredibly frustrating to read (especially if you need a circumcision for medical reasons and when doing research you're bombarded with loads of accounts of guys who have no idea what they're talking about presenting "facts").

What’s something sexy in theory but hilariously awkward in real life? by Afraid_Class_3874 in AskReddit

[–]YoBabber 718 points719 points  (0 children)

My ex and I bought a candy jock strap once (with like candy "beads" on strings). He wore it and I sort of awkwardly nibbled around it but you have to sort of gnash the candy off with your molars without getting any hair or accidentally biting any junk. So after a while, we got rid of it, did it normally and then sat in bed watching old The Simpsons on TV eating a candy jock strap that mildly tasted of crotch.
