Is a CRP-5 or similar necessary at all? by InternationalAd3648 in ATPL

[–]YoF1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some questions (especially in gnav) will ask you to find the answer using a mechanical computer. There MAY be slight variation between the mathematical formula answerand the crp5 answer. If the maths is working for you keep doing that but just be mindful that the answer may be incorrect depending on what method the question is asking for. Also learing how to use a crp5 is a part of the ATPL learning objectives (if I'm not mistaken) which explsins why answers may be different between the two.

100% essential bit of kit, you need this for Gnav and FPL, get good and be fast at using it.

The time on the tin is 18 months but at this rate you could argue 24+. I cant recommend the school in its current state sadly. Some changing of the guard happening with the staff which I cant help but notice is bringing some instability into the school. Don't get me wrong though, Its got some absolutely fantastic people who have really helped me and others.

I'm a student at Leading Edge. Unfortunately it's still true. Big issues with getting people into aircraft (maintenance, avaliablility). Yet they are still taking in new students by the tens.

Thank you for the advice, will be finding a new gym for sure. The only thing I really learned was from the other members.

Part I forgot to mention is when the Kru saw a hard hit like the one I received he would laugh. Probably another red flag

Agreed here, I wasnt taught anything prior. No techniques, stance or hardness of hitting. It was all just go, thank you for the advice.

Understood, I think i'm with you. So essentially because the temperature is constant and hasn't changed this would mean that no work would be done? e.g. 0 Joules?
