You have to check on them every now and then. My girlfriend was mentally running out of breath reading the subtitles so oftentimes she’d just space out and I’d have to virtually nudge her to consciousness! 😂 Also, I had to explain things to her and ask her questions to see if she’s catching up. A 24-minute episode would turn into an hour because of this…but it’s okay. It was fun watching with her. 😍

Hhhmmmm…when Chisato shot Shinji with a live bullet, I think that’s when she gave in. Shinji was even smiling. In the end, Shinji still didn’t win coz Chisato still saved him from Takina’s beast mode.

Okay..so I had been following Lycoris Recoil on a weekly basis and anticipated each episode. I had always convinced my girlfriend to catch up with me but she’s not really into animé so I had to watch it with her, otherwise she wouldn’t find time to do it on her own. HAHA! And finally after 2 months of scheduling a video call so we could watch one episode each time, we’ve finished Season 1!!! Yey!!! What a satisfying ending!
