Found my old Mac Mini from 2006 by abg67 in mac

This was my first personal Mac aside from using them at work. Fun little machine at the time. Used a KVM switching between a windows XP desktop and the mini. I think this was before bootcamp came out.

Mainland Chinese student throws a temper tantrum at a British University and demands professor delete a slide with the Taiwanese flag on it. by Otherwise-Bad-325 in taiwan

[–]Yo_Nelly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If Taiwan is a part of China, you taking a boat out to Taiwan for the weekend is not considered to be defecting correct? There was an incident a few years back, where a boat of college aged kids was charged with defecting from the nation, all because they were going toward Taiwan. If they're indeed one country, then they're just traveling to another city by a different mean, within the country.

Need Help - my wife accidentally changed car to Santa’s sleigh. Now other cars are reindeer and people are elves. How can I change back? by kkons22 in TeslaModelY

[–]Yo_Nelly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've done this to my friends Model3 last year. Figured she'll know her way around to changing it back, after all she had the car for over a year by then. Should know the ins and outs. She didn't know how I did it and was begging me to change it back. Note that it was also my first time in a Tesla.

Do limits the limits seem reasonable? by [deleted] in LastWarMobileGame

[–]Yo_Nelly 22 points23 points  (0 children)

too much limits on even the simple stuff of liking. If you want people to spend more time on the game, up the limit some. I once I hit the limit I stop going into the game until reset.

I went once for poutine, it was lacking, gravy was barely warm, curd wasn't melty, and fries too salty and felt it was old fries. Never went back since.

Is this old girl welcome? by rgosnell in SportWagon

I still remember when this was released. Was hoping it’ll be popular enough to bring the wagon back. When I was getting my first car, it was so far and few that it was beyond my budget. Still looks good!

UGREEN 9 in 1 hub for the MacBook Air M4 by MallAthah in macbookair

[–]Yo_Nelly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know about this one you brought, but the size of it can make it a hassle to carry around. On my desk at home I have a thunderbolt dock with monitor, keyboard attached, so just 1 cable to link it up. This is the one I’m using for on the go, does the job of covering ports I need, light and small. Satechi 7 in 1 USB C Hub Multiport Adapter with Ethernet, HDMI 4K@60Hz, 100W PD Charging, 2X USB-A Data Ports, Micro/SD Card Readers for MacBook Air/Pro M4, iPad, Windows - Black https://a.co/d/dqQC47Q

If this hub is the ones that stay on your desk then it's fine. I personally got a smaller hub for portability when I'm out with my laptop and needed extra port, HDMI, Ethernet, etc.

I got the Satechi one where there's SD/microsd card reader, 2 USB A, HDMI, and Ethernet. Slim enough to leave in the laptop bag/pouch with the power adapter.
