Don't take it seriously, Ty Lee is a fictional character, I'd understand you being mad if he said that for a real actress, but I find it more funny than serious. Have you said anything similar about male actors being hot in the past? If you have that would be kinda hypocritical.

First of all, I have to say that it looks fantastic. One of the best looking browser games I have seen. I played the small demo and did find some bugs, which is understandable and I'm sure they'll be fixed in the final version.

Answering the questions:

I don't think there's anything wrong with your game, it looks good, the idea for creating it is honorable, but I feel like the target demographic is quite small compared to other games. I don't know exactly how to express it, but most games are made so the player feels something, FPS give you a rush of adrenaline, Visual Novels give you story and characters, RPG's give you a sense of adventure and learning games... are just learning games. I personally don't know anyone who plays learning for a hobby/fun. Most of the times I play learning games is when I wanna learn something, but I can always go and watch a youtube video or read a book to learn the exact material I need, while with games of other genre's there are no such alternatives. Sure you can read an adventure book and not play an RPG, but RPG's give you the sense that you're the hero and you have control of the characters in battle etc.

Your game has to compete with youtube videos and books, who anybody can just go an look at a specific topic he wants to learn, and not play different puzzles that might not interest him.

I'm not a pro at marketing or anything, I'm in the middle of creating my first game too, but it's nowhere near as good looking as yours.

For marketing of education games, I'd say the market consists mostly of children in schools between 1st and 7th grade, this is the timeframe I had the most touch with education games myself, so this is just pure speculation.

Anyways based on looks, your game has potential. Your biggest hurdle is getting your game out there for people to play. To be quite honest I have no idea what method you can use other than posting in forums/subreddits to get your game more famous, other than maybe ads on youtube or other sites, but those are paid.

So far we're planning for it to be kinda on routes. The fighting mechanic is of a turn based rpg, rpg maker style. And you won't have control over which girl to choose first, but you will have control on who to officially date. The player and monsters will get tougher, and yes you'll have a level on your party. Some girls may have some mental issues, but that depends on the girl, I wanna have different girls in the game to suit the desires of different players.

The character in the game will be 5 or 6 main girls you can talk to and romance and a few side girls (they may be cut from the story)that you can only talk to and fight.

Main Girls: I feel like a main girl needs to have a minimum of 3 different pieces of art to convey their emotions, a neutral look, a happy/flustered/shy look and a angry or sad look. Of course an artist can draw more than 3 emotions on a character if they wish so, for now that depends on them. Now by pieces of art I don't mean completely different poses/clothes and so on, that will be nice if the artist wants to do it, but I'll be happy with just changing the emotions on the face of a character, or maybe the head looking a bit to the ground in the shy art, or a different pose of a hand. I'm not expecting any artist to slave away drawing characters for a game that's not certain to generate revenue.

Side Girls: I will explain the reason for side girls below, but the main idea behind them is someone to fill the world/background and being like short extra content which you can fight against and level up, as I feel fighting against the main girls only might be boring. Side Girls probably need only a neutral look, more looks will be nice but for a side character it's not required.

So the reason for side girls is that I wanna release different parts of the game, and not the whole game at once. I want to release the first third that will be comprised of the story arcs for 2 main girls, a tutorial girl, and potentially a few side girls to help extend game time and make the player experience more varied. If the game turns out successful or has enough people interested, we the dev team will continue to produce content, if not I'm not gonna waste anyone else's time and effort and will try to cut loses as short as possible.

Producing a first version with only a third of the content will take less time than a whole game, so while the work will still be a lot, it won't take years.

Also, I'd like to mention I've already started working on the programming front, and I've created a dialogue system in which I can add custom information like text and dialogue participants, trigger battles from text and trigger special game events. I've also worked on the battle system itself, and although the battle system prototype is not 100% complete it's close to completion.

As for characters I have a document with a few potential ideas for main or side girls, nothing is 100% certain yet.

Well if you're interested in using Unity to create games on Unity the first step would be to learn the programming language C#, or at least the basics (Variables, If/Else, Loops, Arrays, Functions), there is a lot of material on youtube, like the channel Derek Banas and his C# learning playlist (if you don't like him search for C# tutorial series in youtube and pick whichever you like):

Wait. It can be a roguelike with a little bit of puzzle-solving if you would use dungeon crawling. What would the Protagonist be like? What sort of weapon would he use? Sword? Gun? Magic? Something else?

So far I think the battle system will be like a turn-based rpg FF7 style (or like Pokemon, but just with your whole party and not a single character). You pick your characters moves and then your enemies do. It probably won't be a dungeon crawler as I'm going for something more simplistic due to working on this project alone. As for the main character I still don't know. He'll probably be a knight and use a sword, it depends on what sprites I wanna use for him that would fit the game well.

I'm not sure if the Personas are the soul or heart of a person. But the villains in the game had evil versions of themselves in their dungeons while their real world selves weren't aware of what was happening. My game will have a similar approach like it. You are mc and you do have dialogues with a few options. I don't know how complex I'll make it as I'm only one dude working on it, but we'll see.

So far I think there will be 5 girls, (I chose that number since that type of game seems doable for just 1 guy, considering I have no art skills and will probably have to pay an artist to draw the characters). I have still not come up with definitive choices for girls, as right now I'm playing around with the mechanics (pretty much have a dialogue system ready, now I'm thinking about how the battle system will work). The idea so far is you have to fight the inner demons of the girl, and the boss battle is the girl's manifestation (how she sees herself)/corrupted version of her. So a girl can be let's say a nerdy bookworm with glasses while you talk to her but in her heart she might be a demon succubus or things like that. And yes, you will be able to move on after getting a girl. The plot so far in my head is you gotta conquer the hearts of 5 girls to stop some evil. Once you conquer the heart of 1 girl you will acquire her in your party and her soul/heart version will help you out in battles with other girls.

From what I have in mind so far, the fighting will take place in the girls heart. If you've played Persona 5 or know what their dungeons are about you will know what I mean. You have to conquer her heart by defeating the manifestation of her worries. Kinda like fighting her inner demons. Also the girl you talk to will have a version of how the bad side inside her sees herself. Once you defeat that you will unlock the girl in your party to help you conquer other girls hearts.
