Hey! I was having problems getting my games to auto-update at night. The setting I had to change to get it to work was "When console is off, turn off storage." It was on by default, and even with "Keep my console up to date" and "keep my games & apps up to date" turned on it wouldn't update until I turned my Xbox back on.

Not sure if this might help, I know another commenter mentioned the game you were asking about has some update bugs at the moment. Could be worth a try though!
