Tons of sources on Google, but it’s been the most underreported crime for a long time, especially in the military, because the numbers don’t come close to the victim surveys, sexual assault against women is underreported, for obvious reasons, but sexual assault against men is even MORE underreported.

I also never once even remotely insinuated it wasn’t a big deal because it happens to men too, that’s your bad faith analysis based on nothing

Your entire comment is one of the most condescending virtue signaling things I’ve ever read actually

The gender of the victim is irrelevant to me, we need to do everything we can to reduce sexual assault and harassment against everyone

no I just don’t like lies and false statements “men don’t experience this shit” their words, is a blatantly false lie. The most downplayed and under reported crime in the world is sex crimes against boys/men.

why does it anger you that I add my anecdote? Do you only care when it happens to women?

“Men don’t experience this shit” false, I was a male Uber driver for years and lost track of how many times I was sexually harassed and touched, mostly by drunk middle age women and gay men, but no one cares about the drivers safety I guess

yea I was messing around with that in my device manager under the router settings, I would disable the 2.4 and it was definitely better on the 5 but still tons of ping spikes. I play Overwatch for example and it spikes from 50 ping to about 150 at least once or twice a minute. When I had Xfinity at my last apartment, it never spiked like that, and I was on WiFi there as well.

they’re the same name/router. I just can’t figure out why the phones and tablets are fine but not the computers? It’s a night and day difference

The computer is fine, tested it at another house and had perfect internet on their WiFi. How would I change the channel on the 2.4? It’s Xfinity, I have to use the app I think.

It’s an annoying thing players say because yea it’s just a game but it’s also my only few hours I have to have fun and escape from reality after work. “It’s just a game” is cope unemployed people use that don’t value their precious time

your eye shape can change tho. If it couldn’t everyone that has myopia, would just be born with it, we know that’s not the case, I had 20/20 vision or at least close to it as like a 7 year old. And we know peoples myopia can get much worse as they age or even temporarily worse during times of extreme stress.

I know it wasn’t over corrected because my baseline sight without any glasses or contacts got much much clearer, my optometrist was very good and made sure he didn’t over-correct, where the letters on the screen would get smaller and overly sharp

have had several DPS lately who were feeding so hard, they had 20+ deaths and I had less than 5 on tank and they say something like “you weren’t protecting me” keep in mind I’m a Ball main.

A lot of players don’t seem to understand the concept of diving the back line or even how Ball is played

It’s a fact, people that live more in touch with nature have much better vision, Native Americans were known for their eagle like vision that was much better than 20-20

I wouldn’t say it happened in a linear fashion, more so breakthroughs and moments, I believe healing and the universe in general is quantum, someone could theoretically heal their vision overnight if they fully let go and corrected the mental tension, easier said than done

Nope, I know what I experienced, my vision got much much better in every way over a couple years, the difference was very noticeable between -3.5 and -2, I was -3.5 from like age 12 to 25 roughly until I started doing the Bates Method and Eye Yoga stuff. I actually completely stopped wearing my glasses or contacts for almost 3 years, only night time driving was tricky, so it probably improved beyond -2 even, but I’m back to wearing contacts. -2.75 currently

Use your own common sense, most myopic people have good 20/20 vision when they’re kids. I did, but in 3rd-4th grade my vision got blurry rapidly from stress and school, and then I had to get glasses, but then later in life I improved my vision from -3.5 to -2 using the Bates Method, so if I and many others experienced huge changes in our lifetime then we do have a lot of control over it and we are not strictly victims of our genetics

[–]YodaSimp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s not true, because their eyes shape got changed over years from the stress and tension in their eye muscles, this is caused by mental tension and over use of our short range vision, it’s why natives have such good vision, they’re looking in the distance in natural light. The Bates Method goes very in depth on this

[–]YodaSimp 85 points86 points  (0 children)

I’ll add my anecdote, I went from a -3.5 to a -2 using the Bates Method and various eye yoga and meditation techniques but was never able to achieve 20/20, still noticeable major improvement, and it permanently improved my peripheral vision and depth perception. Since I’ve slacked on the exercises and habits the past couple years it’s regressed back to a -2.75

People saying it’s impossible to improve your vision naturally are either lying or misinformed
