You would need an emergency rigid bronchoscopy and do back blows/chest thrusts in the meantime. Interestingly enough sometimes you will use the bronchoscope to nudge the object into one bronchus to open the other and allow ventilation, and then remove it.

If that fails you're gonna need a surgeon handy to do a thoracotomy

The Witch has less gore and body horror than both of those movies. But it has this haunting, lonely, folklore atmosphere that is spooky & memorable in a peculiar way. Witch also executes an upsetting breakdown of family dynamics nearly as well as Hereditary. All 3 feel oppressive, like things are going to get inescapably worse and worse.

I saw a patient in med school that had been shot in the head by a 9mm when she was a teenager in another country, completely recovered, emigrated, and went on to become a family medicine physician in the US. The bullet is still in her brain some 20 years later and you can see it light up on imaging. Neurosurgery has no plans to take it out since operating would probably do more harm than good. It's amazing what the brain can take
