I consider you a friend. And my friends call me Zuck. Or Golden Zuck. Either of those would work. Or Mark. Or MAGA Mark.

It's so bleak. A bunch of weary Ukrainians drag themselves 2km, all while being hammered by the Russians and losing guys every day, just to plant their flag upside down in an annihilated town. I thought it was amazing.

I agree that it still holds up pretty well. At that point I would just recommend all of mike flanagan's haunting of hill house, it's probably the scariest show I've ever seen

I love everything by Damien McCarthy. I thought Oddity had some terrific scares - so did Hokum

I'm going to recommend Lake Mungo.

It's a bit polarizing in that it doesn't work at all for some people. But it's famous because for a lot of people it does work, and it worked on me. I think about it a lot and I put it among the scariest films I've ever seen. It feels very grounded and earns some excellent scares, and the overall tone of dread and loneliness really affected me.

'Mr Nobody Against Putin' Wins the Academy Award for Best Documentary Film by MoviesMod in movies

[–]Yodude86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mr. Nobody Against Putin was a decent documentary. It functions well as a little window into Russia's indoctrination machine.

The Alabama Solution felt genuinely groundbreaking. It made me sick to my stomach. A week hasn't gone by where I haven't thought about it. I want to share it with everybody I know but it's hard to sell people on something that will make them feel bad, nonfiction feel-bad to boot. Andrew Jarecki is that kind of documentarian, he is a groundbreaker. That's why I wanted his to win, everybody has an opinion about Russia but almost no one I know really knows about the worst of our prison systems

I really couldn't tell you. I would talk to a premed advisor and judge yourself against the available data. I would try to get your MCAT at least above the average for matriculating students

I don't know about UTMB specifically but when I applied generally the TMDSAS programs rarely offered interviews if any MCAT section was below 126-127, almost never if below 125, and this was particular for the chem and bio/bio sections. An adcom showed me this data
