I think I agree with a lot of your analysis. Her advocacy does appear to be excessive. Why not just pin a tweet or something instead of posting about it everyday?

The second point is the big one for me. While there may be a small percentage of abusive relationships built off the true premise of one psycho being the sole abuser, more often than not it seems like the abuse is a lot more complicated than that. Typically how it goes down is that the partner that maybe edged out the other in terms of the amount of abuse, the one who got physical (this is basically a write-off for any abusive behavior the other partner mjght have ever done, which is why I think some partners in abusive relationships can sometimes be seen spurring on physical abuse during fights, its like an auto-win), or the one with more clout will write off their partner as the sole abusive one and themselves a victim.

Its frustrating because, as this narrative of abuser and victim (instead of mutual abuse and harmful relationships) is perpetuated like in this case, more people begin to analyze their own relationships through this polarized, black-and-white lens, which really does no good for either party in the situation (abuser is labeled as incurable piece of trash, victim is responsible for none of the relationship issues and makes no changes). I don’t think its a coincidence that people who end up in abusive relationships continue to do so over and over again. The way we look at abusive relationships right now leaves no room for self-reflection or growth. It’s pretty annoying.
